Guest guest
Just tomarrow is 8th may, an auspisious day going to fall, it is aclled Akshaya Tritiya . There is an important message for this day, it reads as below; Akshaya Tritiya...also known as akhateej occurs on the third day of the bright fort nightin the month of Baisakh [mid april to mid may]. The word Akshya literlly means that which is constant, stable and is never destroyed. In our lives nothing is constant, everything is continueally changingand we feel the burden of this from time to timewhen we have to adjust accordingly. In fact the only example we have of something which is never destroyed is Satya or Truth, which is but another name of Omnipresent God. Ofcourse we have never seen God, but the heritage we have recievedfrom our ancestorstells us that there arespecial muhurts or momentswhen one can experience this constant truthand also benifit from that experience. One of these auspisious muhurts is Akshyatritiya. in fact akshya tithi is also known as Ishwara tithi. Tithi means day and by calling it Ishwara tithi, it signifies that any thing that come into existance on this day will never die. Prashuram, one of the immortals was born on this day.. As also known as one of the chiranjeevi tithi. On account of indestructible force of this day all the words you speak, thoughts you think and and acts you perform onthis day become part of your hard disk and remain with you life after life. it is therefore understandable thaton this day one must make a sincereeffort to perform good deeds, through Japa, tapa, Tyaag, daan and remembarace of the Lord so that your bank balence increases. Rise early on Akshya Triteeya and perform havan repeating the 1000 names of vishnoo. after that if time permits do japa of gurumantra or akhanda naam samkeertan of Rama. Chanting of entire Bhagwat Geeta is specially significant on Akshya Tritiya day. And if you are fortunate to find someonein need do help out as that will earn you the blessings of Lord. This is the way one should celebrate A.T not by buying gold as there is misconception. ----RCShrivastava
