Significance of the Sumangali Pooja The Sumangali Pooja is celebrated in honour of Sri Durgai Amman, who depicts a gentle countenance with ten arms, in each of which she holds a particular weapon.Typically,married women observe Sumangali pooja for their husbands' well-being,good health and logevity. This annual event is always significantly celebrated on Vesak Day in this Temple.
