O daughter of the Mountain! having surpassed alike the trunks of

lordly elephants and the clusters of golden plantain stumps with Thy

two thights, Thou hast likewise surpassed the pair of frontal globes

of the divine elephant with Thy pair of perfectly round knwws,

hardened by [constant] prostration before Thy Lord

The divine elephant-AirAvata, Indra's elephant. It is usual to

compare the thighs of a woman to the trunk of an elephant as well as

to the stump of a plantain tree.
