Guest guest
Namaste Can anyone please tell me if while doing puja or Recitation of Devi's names, one can sprinkle Sindoor, kumkum or akshata on the MahaMeru? OR, We just place it in front of Devi and worship normally? Thanks in advance. Parishant
Guest guest
Dear Devi bakth, out of excitement and in the process of sudden spiritual fountain that may crop up in a person , having idols , maha meru , yendra, etc are start of a spiritual enlightenment. this is good every one wants a self realization .. don't look for power ..which suddenly to posses DEVI puja is last janma destined boon to any baktah any new start up Bakta. pl recite devi namas atleast for few years sitting alone and get the feel of it.recite her namas ..see the bliss having all vigraha, maha meru, shivalingas , saligram all are nice to keep but we need to rituals daily i dont know how many in kaliyug does appropriate daily pooja how many recite gayatri 108 times For alldevi upsaks pl take first DEEksha rather than start up direct if guru deekasha is there, .......... it will find a proper meaning world is very big and i can see LOTS lots of Devi /Skathai sadhana .Sri Vidya Giurus are there from antartica to artica. pl search and get one However putting kumkum on Maha meru is good then are u giving abishek daily? ..what u do with nirmalyam and abishek water u need to dispose in a sacred place not in normal water drain what happens if u r in a flat .. pl ask some one who does daily pooja or a temple prohoit plenty however decision is yours. but please once we start devi pooja dont leave in middle atjags Parishant <paribus81 Monday, 14 July, 2008 1:02:54 PM Maha Meru worship Namaste Can anyone please tell me if while doing puja or Recitation of Devi's names, one can sprinkle Sindoor, kumkum or akshata on the MahaMeru? Guest guest
Dear Atjags Thank you so much for your guidance and words. Ya, it really helps me in some way.. Being a Devi bhakt, I do recite her namas, everyday... tho we people tend to be very busy, for me personally doing puja or recitation or abhisekam is essential just like eating or breathing.. Whatever im trying to do is thru guidance from experienced ones... As im frm Mauritius, it is very difficult to get a Guru who can initiate us in Sri Vidya, in fact to be honest, I dnt even knw if there are such gurus here... Even the Kamakshi idol or picture or mandir, we rarely have... She is still unknown here and mandir, according to me i dnt think there is one! If there are other Mauritian bhakts here, they can tell you that whatever im writing is true... Thats why, to approach a Guru, to be initiated, sorry, i dnt knw where to get one, thats y, Im askin MOTHER herself her blessings and even if im doing wrongly my pujas, i simply knw that she will guide me or speak thru one of you people who is reading this... Thats why I do at times ask you a little enlightment.. coz as you have a Guru, you will surely help... Thanks Love Parishant
