Sri Matre Namah,

 

It is planned to celebrate Devi Navarathri between September 30th and

October 9th, 2008 on a grand scale in Devipuram.

 

We request you to come with family and friends and participate in the

events and receive blessing from Guruji, Amma and Sahasrakshi Sri Sri

RajaRajeshwari.

 

Daily Programme

 

06:00 AM: Ganapathy Homam & Ganapathy Tarpanas

08:00 AM: Navavarna Puja & Shyama/Varahi Tarpanas

10:00 AM: Vishesha Abhishekam & Archana for Ammavaru

02:30 PM: Triveni Kalpam (The new Suvashini Puja developed by Guruji)

04:00 PM: Homam for the presiding Diety (the details of the presiding

diety are given below)

05:30 PM: Procession of Utsava Vigraha accompanied by dances like

Dhimsa (done by lambadi women), Garbha etc.,

06:30 PM: Cultural Programs (Music/Dance Competitions)

09:00 PM: Bhajam & Lullabees to Ammavaru

Sep 30th - Bala Tripura Sundari

Oct 1st - Gayathri

Oct 2nd - Annapoorna

Oct 3rd - Rajarajeshwari

Oct 4th - Maha Lakshmi

Oct 5th - Lalitha

Oct 6th - Saraswathi

Oct 7th - Durga

Oct 8th - Mahishashura Mardhini

Oct 9th - Kali

 

On these days, the main deity will be decorated in the above forms

with flowers, vegetables, sandal wood powder and rice.

This would be a treat to watch.

 

Special Puja

 

Panchadasi Khadgamala Puja

On Oct 5th, special Panchadasi Khadgamala puja will be performed by

the devotees to all the Khadgamala deities in the Meru Nilayam.

 

Sampoorna Seva

Those who sponsor for this Seva can participate in all the pujas and

homams done for the chosen day. They can also can do abhisekham and

archana by themselves. They will be presented Sesha Vashtram (Saree

worn by Goddess mother). Those who cannot attend personally can

forward their names, gothrams, address and the choice of day(s). With

this information all pujas and homam will be performed and prasad

will be sent to the address provided.

 

The sponsorship fee is Rs. 5000/- per day.
