Guest guest
As an artist, Saraswati is a goddess I feel very close to, so I'm gladd you asked. The thing is, I've never heard of Saraswati temples in India- of course, just because I've not heard of them doesn't mean they don't exist. , " DR.SALLA SURYA PRAKASA RAO " <drssprakashrao wrote: > > > Goddess Saraswatidevi temples are were not constructed in > our country compare to other Gods and Goddesses temples. > [....] > can you tell the list of existing Goddess Saraswatidevi temples in our country with their history. > > drssprakashrao @ .co.in > YOURS SINCERELY , > DR.SALLA SURYA PRAKASA RAO,M.D. >
Guest guest
Basar Saraswati Temple is situated on the banks of Godavari River in Adilabad District. Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the temple is located at a distance of 40 km from Nizamabad. This place has various legends associated with it. While according to one legend, Maharshi Valmiki installed the image of Saraswati here, another legend says that Veda Vyasa installed the idol of the deity. Historically, King Bijialudu of Nandagiri constructed this temple in the sixth century. Vasant Panchami and Navratri are the two main festivals celebrated in this temple. The nearest airport is at Hyderabad. Buses ply to Besar from Hyderabad and Nizamabad in Andhra Pradesh and from Nanded in Maharashtra. Saraswati Temple is a well known mythological landmark in Pushkar, Rajasthan. Saraswati Temple Pushkar Rajasthan is a temple dedicated to goddess Saraswati, the wife of Brahma.
