Namaste Group:

 

I would like to know if any of you regularly practice sadhana to the MahaVidyas,

and I would like to know what books you recommend. I would also like to know if

there are any gurus, groups, or teachings that you recommend for the Maha

Vidyas.

 

I feel drawn to this path, and it works for me better than any other.

two entries that might be of interest to you:

The Ten Mahavidyas

by David R. Kinsley

DB says:

A strong introduction to the central Tantric Goddess forms,

this is the late Kinsley's masterpiece. Read as a whole

it's excellent, but treatment of some individual

Mahavidyas is rather thin and general.

 

The Ten Great Cosmic Powers

by S. Shankaranarayanan

DB says:

A nuanced and erudite analysis of the

'Ten Wisdom Goddesses' by an experienced insider.

A wealth of information packed into a slim volume;

however, it assumes a thorough grasp of Hinduism

and Shaktism, so readers from outside these

traditions would do best to read Kinsley

or Frawley first.
