devi hymns

I wonder what people's thought and experiences are in regards to this:

Do to lack of time and ability, as the Devi says, she will take care

of those who always recite the hymns to her that are in devi

mahatmyam. So while reciting the whole mahatmyam is impractical to

me, I can recite the kavacha, argala, kiilakam and the four hymns of

the devi mahtmyam. Any comments on such a practice.
