Guest guest Posted January 10, 2009 Report Share Posted January 10, 2009 dear friends, ive ben iniciated into the subramanya shadakshara mantra . but im not aware about the nyasas, kara nyasa , angan nyasa etc. ive searched in many books but they dont have the nyasa for the suddha shadakshara mantra " saravanabhava " . instead they have nyasas for all other shadakshara mantra with additional bijaksharas. my guru told me to do the japa with only the shadakshara without any bijaksharas attached to. he instructed me to get the nyasa vidhanas from any books or other knowledgable persons as he is bedridden. i dont know where to get them. if anyone can help me out in this matter i would really indebted to them. plz help. thank you hrishi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 Hi Hrishikesh There is a general rule in mantra shaastra that, where we do not know the rishi, chhandas, devata and mantras for anganyaasa-karanyaasa, we use the following procedure: Aachamanam, praanaayaamam, sankalpam followed by:- Asya shree shadaakshakshra mantrasya Parabrahma rishih Gayatree-cchhandah Paramaatma Devataa Hraam Beejam; Hroom Shaktih; Hreem Keelakam (for shakti and kilakam, bija order is reversed; this is not by mistake). Shree Subrahmanya Sharavanabhava Swaami preetyarthe jape viniyogah Hraam Angushthaabhyaam Namah; Hreem Tarjaneebhyaam Namah Hroom Madhyamaabhyaam Namah; Hraim Anaamikaabhyaam Namah Hrowm Kanishthikaabhyaam Namah; Hrah Karatalakaraprshthaabhyaam Namah Similarly, with the same bijas in the same order - hrdayaaya (namah), shirase (swaha), shikhaayai (vashat), kavachaaya (hum), netratrayaaya (vowshat), astraaya (phat) Bhurbhuvassuvarom iti digbandhah Dhyaanam followed by panchopachaara Moola mantra japam Anganyaasa-karanyaasa-digvimoga-dhyaana-panchopachaara-samarpana-aachamanam.
