Guest guest
I noticed on the NASA eclipse board that there are going to be a number of solar and lunar eclipses this year. Can someone tell me the significance of these in the Hindu Calendar. Thanks, Shankari http://shankarikali.wordpress.com/
Guest guest
If you search the message archive () for the word 'eclipse', you'll find mentions of solar eclipses as auspicious times for sadhana, at least for this particular tradition. In private conversation, I've been told that lunar eclipses are 'powerful', with one person (of the shakta sort) indicating that this would be a potentially auspicious time, and two (not of the shakta sort) indicating that this may be an inauspicious time. So differing opinions may be the order of the day. , Shankari Kali <shankari_kali wrote: > > I noticed on the NASA eclipse board that there are going to be a number of solar and lunar eclipses this year.
