Yatra yatra raghunatha kirtanam; Tatra tatra kritha masthakanjalim; Bhaspavaari paripurna lochanam; Maarutim namata raakshasanthakam Life offers us the opportunity to become a Spiritual Warrior. A warrior is one who bravely goes into those dark areas within themselves to ferret out the Truth of their being. It takes great courage, stamina and endurance to become a Spiritual Warrior. The path is narrow, the terrain rough and rocky. You will walk alone: through the dark caves, up those steep climbs and through the dense thick forest. You will meet your dark side. The faces of fear, deceit, and sadness all await your arrival. No one can take this journey but you. There comes a time, in each of our lives, when we are given the choice to follow this path. Should we decide to embark on this journey, we can never turn back.... Our lives are changed forever. On this journey, there are many different places we can choose to slip into and hide. But the path goes on. The Spiritual Warrior stays the course, wounded at times, exhausted and out of energy. Many times, the Warrior will struggle back to their feet to take only a few steps before falling again. Rested, they forge on, continuing the treacherous path. The journey continues. The Spiritual Warrior stays the course. Weakened, but never broken. One day, the battle, loneliness and desperate fights are over. The sun breaks through the clouds; the birds begin to sing their sweet melodies. There is a change in the energy. A deep change within the self. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THAT DAY. The warrior has fought the courageous fight. The battle of the dark night of the soul is won. New energy now fills the Warrior. A new path is now laid before them. A gentler path filled with the inner-knowing of one who has personal empowerment. With their personal battle won, they are filled with joy. A new awareness that they are one with the Spirit beams as they go forth to show others the way. They are not permitted to walk the path for others. They can only love, guide and be a living example of the Truth of their being. Unfortunately I'm still at the very beginning myself - I kind of feel scared of walking alone???????????????????????????????????????? Most adults are fractured souls after years of being in the grid program of our reality. Their spiritual theme is about healing issues, resulting from what they have done to others, what others have done to them, and from a never ending soap opera called 3D. They study martial arts, and other techniques to help them focus and empower themselves, thus hoping to become spiritual warriors. Read Khalil Zibran He says We litter our life with garbage; funny thing is we do not even pick all that garbage. Life is all about regaining your personal power by not allowing the illusion to take it away. To be a spiritual warrior is to bring balance to yourself and hopefully to others you meet. It is about not believing everything others tell you that has worked in their reality, but finding your own truth. It is about listening to your inner voice, higher guidance, your soul. It is then you regain your personal power and identity. You become the spiritual warrior who has broken free. We are all spiritual warriors fighting the duality of 'good vs. evil' in a game created by electromagnetic energies. The spiritual warrior within you needs to attack that which holds you back, especially mental and physical illness, that which self-sabotages your inner essence, overeating, substance abuse, addictions, anything that keeps your spiritual warrior imprisoned. " Maarutatulyavegam Jitendriyam Buddhimataam Varistham, Vaataatmajam Vaanarayoothmukhyam Sriramdootam Saranam Prapadhye " What is truth? Someone once told me that `Truth is SATYAM SHIV SUNDARAM'. The basis for his explanation was that it is the ONLY thing that is GUARANTEED to all beings that take birth. Experience is the first type of truth most of us know. Once an individual experiences something, they know it. None can then persuade them otherwise. The second type of truth is something that we attain through rationalization or reasoning. In most cases the truth is not immediately apparent. The truth is borne out by testing or analysis of the abstract idea, or point of discussion. Both of the above types of truth are relative, they have a range of validity. Even though truths are superior in comparison to opinions, beliefs and superstitions they are limited by their range of validity. There is another type of truth, much different to the above two. The third truth is the direct way of Spiritual Knowing. This is an internal experience of `truth' through the opening of higher faculties. In order to attain this level of truth one must meditate to obtain perceptions of absolute certainty. There is no need for further investigation, doubt is eliminated. The attained knowledge is beyond rationalization and verbal description. True is taking birth True is love for all True is compassion True is acceptance True is knowing peace True is detachment True is suffering True is Pain True is Knowing oneself The entire world is struggling with the financial meltdown of major banking systems, massive layoffs and unprecedented housing foreclosures; we know the reason; we have been dumping garbage on this universe for a long time. Repeated natural calamities tried to tell us something but like before we did not pay any attention to them. So nature decided to teach us the only way we learn by making our pockets a little lighter so that we will pray a little more. We have still not found a way to live together in peace and harmony. It is not as if we have not been trying; the solution is very simple; Vedas clearly says our inner conversation with the one above will resolve it.
