Guest guest
One's guru is their own. There is no need to advertise the site and miracles. This group is for discussion of ideas from self realization (with or without the guidance of a Guru) and help others. Not for canvassing for any particular guru's path. Even Devi Baktha and others, who are instrumental in forming and sustaining this group neither talk about their spiritual ancestry nor canvass for their path. It will be prudent to mention that those who formed this group are kaulas. Please refrain from posting advertising/canvassing information about any guru here. There are posts discussing information and there are posts which are unabashed advertisements for a particular site by repeated postings. If any member asks specifically about a Guru, members can communicate with them by personal email. Or with a simple posting with a link to the website - if one exists. If someone posts any info about themselves, as I said earlier, ignore their " so-called " discriminating information. Please do not bring ideas of discrimination in here. In fact no one has been even talking about discrimination, until a few posts ago. Caste exists in India. Racism exists in the West. We are not here to discuss or subtly raise the issue of racism and casteism. No one is discriminating here based on caste or race or spiritual paths. There are kaulas and samayacharins here and also others who have, have not chosen any path and all paths. Shakthism is all encompassing. In future, any postings alluding to miracles or just visit a guru.com website etc will be deleted. Postings of news about festivals and special occasions like, guru purnima, kumbabishekam, announcements of bhajans and yagas organized by like-minded people etc will be allowed. While posting announcements, please refrain from using all-capital (uppercase) letters in the postings. Netiquette states that in text, posting in all-capitals (uppercase) amounts to shouting. __________________ Last but not the least, those who have any questions regarding spiritual practices and doubts, please feel free to post. As moderators, we cannot assure that you will get an immediate answer, or even if there is one, that may be a direct answer. There are learned people here and someone will answer your question. You might also search for your query by typing in a key word in the search text box. Who knows what gems one might find through a search. _________________ regards G , Shakti Thondan <sakthithondan wrote: > > Talking about one's Guru is not a " discriminating " information, whereas mentioning about caste, religion, etc. which has historically been factors of discrimination. One cannot be separated or discriminated out simply because one follows a specific Guru. That would be total spiritual egotistic ignorance. I am surprised you are comparing " following a Guru " to " discrimination factors " . > > > At Mother's Lotus Feet, > Shakti Thondan > To receive the Light of Supreme Power visit http://www.sakthiolhi.org > > --- On Sun, 5/24/09, ganpra <ganpra wrote: > > > ganpra <ganpra > > > It is interesting that you mention about backgrounds. Perhaps it would be prudent not to post any info about your guru or website as well. After all, it is also info about your background. > > G > > , Shakti Thondan <sakthithondan@ ...> wrote: > > > > Dears, > > I very humbly and sincerely request all the group members to keep any discussions and comments related to individuals and their background off this group. It is not healthy for the Saadhanaa and the very purpose of this group. Hopefully, it doesn't hurt anybody's feelings. > > > > At Mother's Lotus Feet, > > Shakti Thondan > > To receive the Light of Supreme Power visit http://www.sakthiol hi.org > > > > --- On Sun, 5/24/09, NMadasamy <nora@> wrote: > > > > > > NMadasamy <nora@> > > Re: commentary for Lalitha Sahasranamam > > > > > , gopal narayan <gopalnarayan123@ ....> wrote: > > > > > > i forgot to add : > > > > > > i am gujarati brahmin > > > > and so many I......why? > > > > Must be very important to you that people know this eh!.......I' m an untouchable and the moderator of this group.
