Guest guest
Dear Nancy, it would be equally childish to leave the group. It is indeed not very heartening to see people bickering instead of having a constructive discussion. However I hope you will stay and contribute. regards Aditya [Moderator's note: she has already d.] On Tue, May 26, 2009 at 4:39 PM, <RemoteVwr wrote: > > > For NMadasamy ~~ > > Sorry you had such a negative reaction to Sreekumar's lighthearted comment. > > I'm sure it was not meant to hurt your feelings. > > For my other brothers and sisters on this list ~~ > > All the recent bickering has compromised my serenity. > > So I am leaving the group, with fond farewell and thanks to everyone. >
Guest guest
I am so sorry to hear that two lovely voices are falling silent in this group. I'll miss them. Those who prattle about the superiority of their guru or their caste status judge only themselves. They're caught up in maya so deeply that they can't see how sad and foolish they are. All that we boast of about ourselves and everything that we think makes us so special--this is meaningless and it isn't even us, it's the grasping and the folly that we need to unlearn to see that we are not separate from the Devi herself. What we really are is a whole lot better than the things we have to let go of, and what's so wonderful about it is that this is true of all of us. We are all equally divine. Why lay claim to anything else? I hope the Devi will rock you in her loving arms and that we'll hear from you again.
