Sorry you had such a negative reaction to Sreekumar's lighthearted comment.

I'm sure it was not meant to hurt your feelings.

 

I must say, my understanding is that the list owner does have the right to

decide what shall be posted and what shall not. We can't all just say

whatever we wish.

 

For my other brothers and sisters on this list ~~

 

All the recent bickering has compromised my serenity. Since I'm the only

Hindu where I live I thought I was joining a group where we were all sharing

joy of our love for the Divine Mother together, a kind of online satsang,

which made me so happy. Instead I find much scholarly and interesting work

and admixed with one-up-manship about whose guru is the best, and who is

right. How childish is that?

 

It's all a little too much for me. I have been sick for a year from stress

and am by Mother's grace I am starting to recover. My meditation and

chanting is my mainstay. I am just unwilling to subject myself to the fallout

from all this ~ it is too stressful.

 

So I am leaving the group, with fond farewell and thanks to everyone.
