Guest guest
Jai Maa! Today (Thursday) is the last day of Ambubachi, the annual festival of the menstruation of Mother Earth, celebrated at the Sri Sri Kamakhya Temple in Assam. This is the most auspicious time of year for many Shaktas, particularly those who feel close to MAA Kamakhya. On Friday we are celebrating the end of Ambubachi at the Sri Kamakhya Mahavidya Mandir in Alameda, California, and will be distributing *rakta bastra*, the red cloth that MAA has worn the past three days during her menstruation. If you'd like to join us, let me know.
