Guest guest Posted August 11, 2009 Report Share Posted August 11, 2009 Bhusuktam is a vedic suktam. should be learnt with proper swara (intonation) and incanted.Otherwise, it will be bereft of any results. Sometimes, wrong incantation may produce opposite effect. Pl refer to the anecdote of Twashtr who mis-incanted the mantra while offering oblation into the fire. Instead of begetting one who would kill Indra, he begot one who was killed by Indra.
