Guest guest
Hi All, I was recently at an Mata Amrithanandamayee Retreat in California. I noticed that Lalithasahasranama is chanted after midnight. Is there some significance about this hour? All the literature I've come across before mentioned that " sandhya " is the best time for all sadhanas. And that ungoldy hours are normally used for praying to " Dhurshakthies " .Could someone please clarify this? Thanks! Bob
Guest guest
Hi Bob, At Ammachi's ashram in India, we chant Lalita Sahasranama at 4:30 am. When She is traveling, it is chanted at the end of darshan. I believe it is purely because of the darshan schedule, but I could be wrong.
