Guest guest
Dear Friends: I have told the following personal story verbally to my friends many times. Each time the people hearing it have enjoyed it. So a couple of days ago, I wrote it down. The best stories are of the events that may seem minor at the time but somehow one never forgets. this-is-how-jesus-used-to-drink-by-dr-harsh-k-luthar Namaste and Love to all Harsha

Guest guest
Thank you Harsha: Waterville Maine in 1965! God bless you! (I was actually also a young kid in Maine at that time, though Shakti Sadhana group would not have been my first stop had I been seeking a reunion of people from that particular place at that particular time!) You write: " I especially remember the Mother Superior. [...] There was something extraordinary peaceful about her. She was full of grace, kindness, and a quiet dignity in all her words and actions. " Is this not the mark of the true adept in any religious tradition? The great souls are always focused on the TRUTH of any spiritual teaching, not the label or the packaging. It is a tribute to her (and to you) that you have memorialized one of her small acts of kindness all these decades later. For those of us who may sometimes doubt that our small, simple acts could possibly matter in the immensity of time and space, this story is a reminder: It is precisely those acts that ultimately matter the most. aim mAtangyai namaH , Harsha wrote: > > Dear Friends: > > I have told the following personal story verbally to my friends many > times. Guest guest
Namaste, I have to agree with DB on his sentiments. I hope you did not mind me sending this story to my parents. They thought it was a sweet story and even they drew something positive from it! Guest guest
Hello Christina/Arya Thank you for your note. I am glad your parents enjoyed reading the story. I don't mind at all that you sent it to them. It is meant to be shared. That is why I put it on my blog and posted the link here.
