Dear Sir,

Please give relevant back up material to support your statement that Madurai

temple was a jain temple.

There is no question of me underestimating anyone.

It is incumbent upon the person making a controversial statement, to back it up

with proper facts and figures.  If unable to back it up, such statements should

not be made in the first place.

Please present some historical evidence, also for your claim that the shakti

peeths mentioned by you are credited to the Nath yogis.

Regards

Rohit

Dear Mr Rohit,

Saraswati was praised as River and Usha was praised as Beautiful Dawn in Rig

Veda.

These were not worshiped or treated as God, like Devi .

All Devis are being looked as a manifestation of  Sakti.

Out of the the 51 Sakti peethas more than 50% are found to be  in Eastern

India. The most prominent of them are Kamakhya temple at Assam , Credit for this

peetha goes to Lord Matsendra Nath. The other one is Famous Kalighat Temple of

Kolkata, The credit for this Saktipeetha goes to Lord Goroksha Nath ( Disciple

of Lord Matsendra Nath) of Nath religion.

The other Sakti peethas of Godess Chinna masta and baglamukhi were Buddhist

Sakti peethas and were converted as Hindu Sakti Peetha.

The most famous  Meenakhsmi temple of Madurai was originally  Padmavati temple

of Jains and was converted by  King Mayur Varman.

Well, you may kindly refer to various historical books, along with Mythological

books /literatures.

One request, henceforth  kindly dont underestimate others and it will be

appreciated if respect is given to fellow members.

With regards

Dear Mr. Rohit,

I am not here to Justify my points before a panel of Judge.

Neither you are my examiner.

However, I believe you are interested to know about history ,so pl. find the

reference below:

1) History of Kerala, Prof. E.K. Pillai,

2) The indian Temple Art and Architechture by Mr. P.R. Srinivasan

3) History of Ancient India by Prof. R.S. Tripathy

4) History of Ancient India by Prof Sunil Chatterjee

As per historical record, Thirugnana Sambandar with the connivance of the queen

and Chief minister managed to convert the great Pandin King Mayura varmana from

Jainaism to Saivaism and on the day of conversion 8000 Jain monks were bheaded.

Even today, this incident is celebrated at Madurai temple.

Further to this ,the image of Thirugnana Sambandar was installed in all temples

for worship due to his great achievement.

Thirumangai Alwar  became famous for stealing the Golden Idol of Lord Buddha

from a Buddhist temple at Nagapattanam and for building Sriranganatha temple

with these stolen properties.

A number of cases like above can be given.

Comming to your 2nd point on Sakthi peetha, I need now historical proof from

your side.

If you are unable to provide, it will be provided by me.

Regards.

Spare yourself the trouble. We all agree : Shakti Worship is a neofad that

was started by Michael Jackson.

Unfortunately I do not have any proof to back this up (with MJ's death , any

hopes that I had of salvaging something has been extinguished....forever.)

Regards

Aditya

....I disagree! I really believe it was Bruce Lee.

Sadly, his assassins stole the sacred evidence.
