Colors associated with Kali?

Namaste.

I have been trying to do various things to increase remembering Devi, mainly

as her form of Kali. I tend to think about her -a lot-, but I want to

increase how much I am doing it. Because I do not have access to things

like materials used for havan/homa (nor would I be able to use certain

things in this case), or anything equally as elaborate, I have been trying

to surround me with things to keep her in my mind. I wanted to know what

sort of colors I could use.

I read in a source that Shaktas often wear red, but I wanted to get

information from authentic worshipers of Devi. What sort of colors could be

worn or used?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Jai Ma!

Sincerely,

Christina/Arya

Red is the most pleasing to Devi, particularly Kali, Kamakhya, Lalita, etc.

Red is the best color. Red hibiscus and red roses (if you don't have access

to hibiscus) are also good offerings.
