Guest guest Posted December 15, 2009 Report Share Posted December 15, 2009 first comment : with an ADSL2+ connection the site loads in 2 seconds but the main picture " rasa leela " takes about 10 seconds to load What is probably making the site too long to load is the fact that there are too many pictures in the " featured articles " section Just the text links would be OK and improve the loading time. There is no need to list all of the previous issues in the frontpage left section (just a simple link to " other previous issues " would do) Remember that the longer it takes for the frontpage to load the more chances are that the visitor will leave the site without even having looked at the content.. So in short : your page should load almost instantly with an ADSL2+ connection and in less than 5 seconds on an ordinary dial up connection. All the best and thanks for the links !
