Guest guest
I was so excited to find this site and after working my way throughall the maze of data to join. Wrote you a response and immediately lost it. I found sahaja Yoga in 81 but after reading of your experiences I feel I have been muddling along somewhat. The problems about announcing Sri Mataji's Advent in a big way have puzzled a lot of us for a long time. More than half the people who call themselves yogis don't seem to really feel connected in a heartfelt way and they have an inhibiting effect on those of us who are moved by the experience. I remember Sri Mataji saying that those of us who came then were mostly " right sided " and that the real bhaktas were still praying to God and that they would be regarded as mad by the ones who were necessary at that time to establish some sort of foundation. Of course few of them are left now. Another thing which sustained me was when Sri Mataji warned us not to be attatched to Sahaja Yoga which She said " ..is just one of My forms, but to Me. " A lot of people still don't see that. The great Miracle is that we have developed so much love for each other. Seeing the folk who just arrived back from Ganaptipule we were amazed at the great radiance of love they exuded at the airport. This site also indicates a huge shift in the same direction. It couldn't happen until the American continent was engaged. In Australia a lot of our concern has been in establishing the qualities of the Mooladhara. Communicating is not such a strong point. with love from Lyndal

Let me tell SYs how the devotees of rakshasas are toiling day and night shouting themselves hoarse from rooftops to announce their gurus: " Sathya Sai Baba says that He is the second of a triple incarnation. The first was Shirdi Sai Baba and the third will be Prema Sai Baba. Below, we give the information that is known about Prema Sai Baba, with references to the sources. The first mention of Prema Sai by Sathya Sai Baba appears to be in the discourse Shiva Shakthi, 6 July 1963, In a conversation between Shiva, Shakthi, and Bharadwaja after Bharadwaja performed a ritual, Shiva said that " they would take human form and be born in the Bharadwaja lineage, thrice: Shiva alone as Shirdi Sai Baba, Shiva and Shakthi together at Puttaparthy as Sathya Sai Baba, and Shakthi alone as Prema Sai, later. " Yes, his devotees are already announcing the advent of Sai's next incarnation who will be Prema Sai Baba. That's an ingenious way of continuing posterity. " To say that L. Ron Hubbard was a remarkable man seems somehow incomplete. Mr. Hubbard left an extraordinary legacy: an immense body of wisdom that leads man to spiritual freedom; the fastest- growing religion in the world today. As the founder of the Scientology religion L. Ron Hubbard has described his philosophy in more than 5,000 writings, including dozens of books, and in 3,000 tape-recorded lectures of Dianetics and Scientology. Those who regularly employ his teachings to improve themselves and help their fellows come from all walks of life, while Scientology missions and churches have been established on six continents. The universal acclaim for the man–including thousands of awards and recognitions from individuals and groups and the unprecedented popularity of his works is but one indicator of the effectiveness of his technologies. More importantly, there are millions of people around the world who consider they have no greater friend. " Most SYs are familiar with Mr. Hubbard and his Church of Scientology. His devotees go to great lengths to uphold his teachings. Try disturbing their nest and see how they will swarm all over you to recant any accusations. (i wonder what they would have done if he was on par with Sai Baba.) " Q: At what time does master install the Falun in the students? A: We want to discuss this with all of you here. We have some students who have practiced many different practices. The difficulty lies in the fact that we have to get rid of all the messy and disorderly things that exist in the body, keeping the good and throwing away the bad. Therefore, this is an additional step. After that, Falun may be installed. According to the level of his cultivation, the size of Falun installed varies. Some have never practiced Qigong before. Through readjustment and with good inborn quality, some people may have their sicknesses eliminated in my class, leaving the level of Qi and entering into the state of " Milky White Body " . Under those circumstances, Falun can also be installed. Many people have poor health. They are undergoing adjustments continuously. How can Falun be installed before the adjustments are completed? This is only a minority. Do not worry. I have already installed the Qiji (energy mechanism) that can form the Falun. Q: How is the Falun carried? A: It is not carried. I send out the Falun and install it in your lower abdomen. It is not in our physical dimension, but in a different one. If it were in this dimension, with the intestines that are inside of your lower abdomen, what would happen if it started to spin? It exists in another dimension and is in no conflict with this one. " i will give just one random Falun page set up by a devotee of Master Li Hongzhi and let SYs see the wealth of information available http://www.falundafa.org/book/eng/flg_5.htm. And let's not forget the heroism and supreme sacrifice carried out by his devotees in China in the face of brutal repression, torture and imprisonment. A ferocious state campaign to crush the movement is still under progress and Falun Gong survives, even after thousands of arrests. It would be an insult if we SYs were to compare our efforts to announce our Guru to these far successful organizations. The difference is that their devotees are unswerving and fearless in theirs efforts to publicize their conviction that their guru is what he claims to be. But we SYs are living under a siege mentality that the public and press will attack Sahaja Yoga if we ever mention that our Guru is the Adi Shakti or that it is the Last Judgment. Just look at any 'official' Sahaja Yoga website and you will get the picture. Even the World Savior site gives scant information and beats around the bush concerning the world savior. (i suspect that this website was set up just to counter criticism that SYs are not revealing of their guru.) All this is plain hypocrisy and greatly damages the reputation and integrity of Sahaja Yoga. i find it disgusting that those who call themselves self-realized demonstrate so little honesty and conviction. Even the Project 2800 websites by devotees of Shri Mataji make no mention of their Guru as the Ad Shakti. It looks like those in charge fear mentioning the Last Judgment, Resurrection (Al- Qiyamah), Comforter, Holy Spirit, Jagdamba, Ruh etc. and regard them as taboo subjects. Yes, Lyndal " they have an inhibiting effect on those of us who are moved by the experience. " And as long as this fear factor remains ingrained in our consciousness Sahaja Yoga will remain what it is regarded by many - just another yoga organization by just another guru. Jai Shri Mataji, jagbir To see what is right and not to do it is want of courage. (Confucius) That all men would be cowards if they dare, Some men we know have courage to declare. (George Crabble) When desperate ills demand a speedy cure, Distrust is cowardice, and prudence folly. (Samuel Johnson) That which in mean men we entitle patience Is pale cold cowardice in noble beasts. (William Shakespear) As an old soldier I admit the cowardice: it's as universal as sea sickness, and matters just as little. (George Bernard Shaw) Man gives every reason for his conduct save one, every excuse for his crimes save one, every plea for his safety save one; and that one is his cowardice. Guest guest
Dear All, i personally was never denied answers to questions put to the collective when i was a young yogi. Perhaps that is a crowning achievement of the Boston yogis, they are honest. It was not to many weeks in to meditating that i approached them with the question, Is Shri Mataji the Holy Spirit? There was no beating around the bush. i would not have believed them anyway if they had responded differently. i was certain that she was and only wanted confirmation. One thing has always come to mind when thinking about the clamor of the false guru's and the seeming stealth of Sahaja Yoga, is that saying in the bible, She will come as a theif in the night. That means quietly to me. Taking here and there those who belong to Her. i think if the clamor about Sahaja Yoga rose to a high pitch, the opposing forces would rise also to try and drown it out. The resulting mess would probably have no greater effect than the Divine intended. i think individuals should do what is in their own hearts. If they do not then they are only hurting themselves. Should Sahaja Yoga fill its ranks with half baked individuals who are intent only on their own desires of fame and fortune? i think there are already to many of them around. i am also reminded of the great Sanga of the Buddha, when his father tried to send messengers to find out what was going on. They never returned and the more he sent the greater was his frustration. Till he went there himself. To see them all happily forgetting why they were even sent. i trust in God that all is as it should be. The Divine has been in charge of human history for this long. We do what we can and leave the rest. It is the greatest gift to be free of the human condition, but it also requires the most courage to face ones self. This is the great battle ground. It is not for everyone. But that is only my opinion. Peace and Love, Ishmael
