I do not become thoughtless either. What may be the reason and how should I grow in sahaja yoga? Dear Mukesh, Namaste! i have come across two cases where vibrations were not felt for a considerable period of time - 2 years and the other nothing after 8 years. i do not know the reason why but one fact is common to both: they are surrounded by spouses, family members and friends who are against Shri Mataji because of one or more of the following: 1. they are conditioned and dependent on priests who teach them about god/religion. These preachers are in turn severely handicapped by their lack of knowledge of things that matters most - gnosis, second birth, kingdom of god, dsam duar (the tenth gate), self- realization etc. And none of them know anything about the Comforter or Aykaa Mayee (The One Mother). So they react strongly when their spouses tell them about Shri Mataji. These thoughts have a power of their own and linger in the air for a long time. 2. the harmful thoughts they project towards their spouses who meditate on Shri Mataji, and to Shri Mataji Herself creates a negative atmosphere. i remember a SY's home i stayed in 2001 and there were no vibrations in the whole bungalow except the room devoted to Shri Mataji. The only time i could feel vibrations outside Her room was when the SY or my wife meditated there. Probably the better way would be for you to attend collective meetings because the vibrations of fellow SYs will help. (i always feel more vibrations when my family meditates together, a privilege some do not have.) You may ask them to work on you on a weekly basis and the more the better. There are also specific treatments that the collective might suggest. At the last resort you may want to go to Varsi, India and get professional treatment. i had a friend who went there after having a very bad left Vishuddhi catch for years. When i say bad it means really, really bad - just hearing her voice or even thinking of her was enough to get the catch. Last year she came to see me and there was no catch. Her answer: Varsi. Mukesh, if you do not feel vibrations it does not mean that your chakras are not working. Believe me they are working and one day you will feel them. Instead you should thrive to attain the thoughtless state because it is far more important than vibrations. Yes, vibrations are really very good and are like the 'breath of God' purifying and convincing you that it is the Last Judgment and the Resurrection. But If you attain the thoughtless state then vibrations will be a snowflake in winter. The thoughtless state is winter, something that will be beyond your wildest imagination. The intoxication of the Divine Nectar will leave you desiring nothing else for it is the most pleasurable and intense of spiritual experiences. Vibrations are nowhere compared to the Joy of Thoughtlessness. But the thoughtless state is harder to achieve than getting vibrations. 1) The best would be for you to consciousness try to elongate the gap between one thought to another. You must consciously try to do so until it becomes second nature like breathing. i am making it sound simple but will take months of practice. 2) Try to stop reacting to situations or lessen the intensity. When we react it starts a chain reaction that takes a long time to settle, especially if it concerns or hurts us. It is just like throwing a big rock into a pristine and calm lake. Once it hits the bottom the mud will take a long time to settle. And this mud will rise in your mind also, sometimes for a long time and it will be difficult to attain the thoughtless gap for longer periods. 3) Don't listen to gossip because the mind thrives and flourishes on it. Gossip is food for the reacting mind. Try to starve it by listening to less, and thus also talking less. i have found that this mind pretends to sympathize with the unfortunate. For example, how 'sorry' we feel that our neighbor's daughter or so and so's wife has eloped. Still we cock our ears and wait for more, instead of telling, " Stop, we do not want to hear anymore. " The truth is our mind really want to know the juicy details. i don't think your mind will remain thoughtless if given the full 8-course meal of steamy, hot details that will leave you salivating for more .............. from another source. > I get frustrated sometimes so much so that I had onces decided to > quit sahaja yoga and indeed quitted it for a long time. > Can you help me out! Do not leave Sahaja Yoga just because you cannot feel vibrations or remain thoughtless. Don't leave Sahaja Yoga just because some stupid SY wants you to believe that Shri Mataji bought US$32,000 worth of diamonds to open the Agnya Chakra of America. Also don't leave SY because past leaders have made gross errors and got thrown out for embezzling funds or indulging in sexual perversion. Shri Mataji welcomes even the worst humans just to give them a chance to become better beings. She does not discriminate between a priest and a pedophile because both have equal right to salvation. Leave Sahaja Yoga if you do not believe She is the Adi Shakti. Leave Sahaja Yoga if you believe She is a false guru. Leave Sahaja Yoga if you can find a better teacher or easier salvation. But you must remember at all times that you are subject to the Last Judgment because it has been announced to you. This is what you will have to consider if ever you want to leave. So Mukesh just hang on and let the Great Adi Shakti work it out. Keep your faith in Her and She will reward you - SHE WILL! After all, She is your Mother and will act in your best interest. Jai Shri Mataji, jagbir Note: Other readers should try to put forward their views, even if they differ. We are here to agree to disagree. This is just my opinion.
