Guest guest
Dear SYs, Jai Shri Mataji! i would like to take this opportunity to thank all members for participating in this forum, whether actively or not. There are so many ways we SYs can help each other and become fearless messengers of the Last Judgment and Resurrection (Al-Qiyamah). With the blessings and guidance of Shri Mataji this forum will achieve all its objectives, and far more. Please bear with me this conviction and let time be the witness. Again i want to point out that no one controls this forum or is the leader here. Every member must know that like Sahaja Yoga, this forum is a living organization without anyone in charge. All of us must agree to disagree, and admit ignorance to gain knowledge. So this forum belongs to the great Adi Shakti and we just contribute to further Her Cause. Every SY has something to tell, an experience to share, some advice to give or a mistake to correct. i know that i will learn much from my brothers and sisters from all over the world. So will others. i see that there is yet no reply to Adam's post. There must be someone out there who can advise or give direction. All i know is that after Sahaja Yoga self-realization the Kundalini begins to heal mind and body. It is particularly the mind where the Kundalini is most effective and the article below should provide some information to Adam as to what Sahaja Yoga achieves. http://www.adishakti.org/pdf_files_2/attention_deficit_kids.pdf It is my belief that the diseases of the future will increasingly be of the mind and other than harsh drugs with side-effects, no effective cure will be available ..................... and only Sahaja Yoga, with its genuine kundalini awakening will be the only alternative to expensive long-term medication/hospitalization. " In any given year, about 44 million Americans - or 1 in 5 adults - suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder. Further, 4 of the 10 leading causes of disability are mental disorders. 1 The more common mental illnesses or disorders are: Depressive disorders which include major depression, dysthymia, and bipolar disorder. Depressive disorders affect 18.8 million people or nearly 10% of the adult population in the U.S. Anxiety disorders which include panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), generalized anxiety disorder, and phobias. Anxiety disorders affect 19.9 million people between the ages of 18 to 54. Schizophrenia, widely viewed as the most devastating mental illness, effects more than 2 million Americans. Mental illness also includes Eating Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, and Alzheimer's disease - the most common cause of dementia among people age 65 and older. In addition, more than 90% of people who commit suicide have been diagnosed with a mental disorder, most often a depressive disorder or a substance abuse disorder. In 1997, suicide was the third leading cause of death among those ages 15 to 24. " (www.hsrd.research.va.gov) i think the thoughtless state will help future generations from succumbing to such mental disorders, and the Kundalini heal those already afflicted. Adam, can you please tell me the words you used to search for the forum. i am particularly interested to use them in search- engine optimization so that others do not end up in the websites of ex-SY Simon - the self-styled Avenging Angel, Saint Joseph's and Shri Mahavishnu all rolled into one. (Man, he is some multi-incarnation of God Almighty.) And talking of search-engines i have found that Ishmael is in the business of search engine optimization (and he is an astronomer too). My brother Ishmael, a search engine expert is as welcome as an Indian summer in winter or a double rainbow. It is an extremely important aspect of any website, if not the most. i did add certain keywords and unique titles but you should be able to better. So just take care of it and let me know of any changes to be mader. i want all members to know that at the rate we are going there is enough space for 10,000 posts. Right now we have yet to use 1 % and there is a long way to go. However, will have to rectify the 32 MB space allocated to each group. They will have to increase allocation or may want to charge like they do for bigger mailbox. Even in the worst case scenario we can always open forum 2. We will cross the bridge when it comes. So please do not feel inhibited to post frequently. But those who want to save space may want to delete/edit the post being replied to And Raj, can you let us know how you get that neat blue line beside the posts being replied to? These blue lines are more aesthetic than the pointy arrows and fragmented lines whenever a post is copied and pasted. It is a pleasure to read neat posts that are pleasing to the eyes. Before ending i would like to thank those who contributed to the subtle system question and removed my ignorance. warmest regards to all, jagbir
