Guest guest
Dear fellow Yogis and in particular Dear Tiger, In a previous post someone commented that the important thing is not feeling vibrations but actually becoming thoughtless. Such an important point and often overlooked. The ability to feel vibrations is related to the quality of the instrument who is feels them. I have seen a whole collective go off balance because a clever negative person did an experiment to " prove " vibrations were imaginary. Sometimes things which don't seem right feel cool and only years later the reason why becomes clear to us. (But mostly things which emmit alarmingly painful vibrations are definitely better avoided.) Most collectives seem to have more than enough foolish people in them but they are there for us to learn from and develop our discretion and forgiveness. It is hard when you are new and they seem to keep getting in between yourself and your meditative Self. My own experience was one of great frustration for years and lots of prayers to Sri Mataji, sometimes written and left on the altar in front of Her photo. Or just sitting and talking to Her. She always hears her children. Living in ashrams always seemed like being a pebble in a stream with lots of other pebbles all bumping into each other and becoming smoother. As time went by most of us who survived realised that we could choose who to live with, who to spend time with and not struggle so much. And in amongst the insincere and half-hearted and foolish people we find real treasures of souls who make it well worth while. We are actually engaged in the greatest epic humanity has ever known. A greater battle than any in the Illiad or the Mahabharata. Sometimes when things are trying it is good to give thanks for that. That after all Sri Mataji has found us and heard us in our desperate state and amongst all the millions of souls who have not yet even heard of Her we are the fortunate ones to recognise Her. When we were blessed to be able to actually put our hands under Her Feet and rest our foreheads on them, which is what we still do now when we namascar, we could feel our being fuse with Hers (it is not possible to feel any bones in Sri Mataji's Feet. They have the same firm texture as Lotuses.) And we feel connected to something which is endless in all directions. When we namascar we surrender this way. Recognition from the heart and surrender is all you need to nourish your growth. For the Mooladhara, sitting on the Mother Earth and saying the Ganesha Artharva Shirsham out loud is very good. And be sure that whatever " problems " we have aquired in this lifetime we were probably born without any from previous good lives so no need to chastise oneself. Our real Self is the Spirit Eternal. Jai Sri Mataji with love from Aunty Lyndal
