Guest guest
Dear SYs, The recent tragic loss of Kalpana Chawla left me with sadness and i am sure our Indian brothers and sisters will feel enormous grief and loss. (The Israelis are also reeling from this tragedy as their first ever countryman, Colonel Ilan Ramon was also killed.) i am particularly saddened by the untimely death was that of an Indian shakti who was able to reach beyond the skies into space. This feat speaks volumes of the strides made by Indian women and the freedom gifted to them by culture and religion. It also heralds the dawn of the Divine Feminine. Kalpana Chawla herself recently said that although she was proud of her roots, she did not feel Indian in space. " When you look at the stars and the galaxy, you feel that you are not just from any particular piece of land, but from the solar system, " she said. Kalpana Chawla was moved by her experience a few hundred miles away from Earth. What would she or any other human have realized a few million light years further? regards to all, jagbir
