Guest guest
Dear Kerry, Like you I also had a " sabatical " from Sahaja Yoga for a few years when things got beyond my meagre witnessing powers. I wrote to Sri Mataji about my perceptions and She told me not to worry about Sahaja Yoga for the time being but just to concentrate on my family life. Not long after my aged parents suddenly became very ill and dependant on me so I was pretty busy with family affairs. At the same time I had a series of dreams in which I was shown exactly what the people I had been annoyed with were doing and then they were subsequently exposed. I also read a book by Herman Hesse called " Journey to the East " where the seeker falls out with his companions and goes through a lot of illusions before discovering that the weaknessess he was criticising them for were in him. That was a salutory thing. Not that I was into the sort of mischief these people were but that my ego was getting in my way considerably. I have had a feeling lately that whereas in previous incarnations the gross people rose up after the Deity had left and struggled for leadership etc. This time Sri Mataji has made them all come up during Her lifetime. In one of Her talks from the early eighties She said " I am not going to leave any holes this time " and something else to the effect of it will either be perfected or everything will all be destroyed but this incarnation is not going to result in a false religion. Lately it is becoming clear that the point where it might have failed is past and Sri Adi Shakti's powere is now manifesting so fully that nothing will preevent the perfection of Her work. If the time was short in those days it must be almost complete now. It feels as if we just have a last effort to make for our ascent. with love from Lyndal
Guest guest
Dear all, i have spent the whole day trying to answer Kerry's and Lyndal post but just cannot. Unlike Lyndal, who is a smooth pebble after many years of rolling and rubbing in the stream of Sahaja Yoga, i am just like a rock with jagged ends and sharp edges. My post would have caused pain and hurt. So i will just quote from someone who left Sahaja Yoga not because of Shri Mataji but the attitude of fellow SYs. In a nutshell it explains all that's wrong with SY, for i have also experienced them firsthand: " I would like to say: well, than she's a fraud! No powers, no guru, just a fraud. But I cannot. I sincerely hate all those leaders in SY (with some few exceptions), and the 'smiling people'. I have seen so many fanatics, that I couldn't stay one minute in the collective. Also I remember how my life used to be judged by some old 'aunties' that were powerful in our collective. I couldn't bear that again. But what happened in SY was by no means ordinary. I am able to see now that SY collective is a mix of sincere and profound people, and fanatics and abusive ones. Obviously there are abuses, (power corrupts, absolute power...) No clear black and white picture, though. " (ex-Sahaja Yogi) i believe there are many newcomers who have left under similar circumstances. They are just like seeds in a harsh environment that will not sprout and take root. i would definitely have left for the same reasons, never ever to come back again. (Right now my whole family is in self-imposed exile, the only way left for us to ascend.) Leaders and coordinators should wake up and seriously address this acute problem that plagues many collectives. Fellow SYs should not only change their holier-than-thou attitudes but also learn humility. All should realize that there are growing numbers of SYs staying out of the collective because they cannot witness or put up with over-bearing and insensitive SYs any more. This hemorrhage will not be staunched by band-aid measures. It is only Shri Mataji's physical presence that is keeping things under control, even as the edges are getting frayed. The situation will become far worse once She leaves Earth, unless recognized today in order to be rectified tomorrow. regards to all, jagbir
