Guest guest
I have been investigating Shri Mataji's claim for about two weeks now. I was astounded by Her claim to be "the Comforter" and the Spirit of Truth that will lead us into all Truth, since Bahaullah made the same claim almost two hundred years ago, in His "Tablet to the Christians, also known as "The Most Holy Tablet". If you would like to read it, it can be found at: http://www.bahai.com/writings2/Bahaullah/tablets/6-10.htm Before I point to Bahaullah's writings that may bear witness to Shri Mataji as the Holy Spirit, I would like to get some feed back from you and others on the Tablet to the Christians. Thanks Vonda "jagbir singh <adishakti_org" <adishakti_org wrote: shriadishakti , "vst333 <vst333>" <vst333> wrote:> > My name is Vonda and I have been affiliated with the Baha'u'llah > and the Bahai Faith for over 12 years. Oh, the mysteries of Divine > Unity!>Hi Vonda,Welcome to the forum. i am sure all members of this forum would love to hear from you about Baha'u'llah's prophesies about Shri Mataji. Very slowly, but so surely, humanity is converging irrevocably towards the Divine Unity. It is generally agreeable that the Sure Signs and descriptions of the Day of Judgment in the Koran are that:1) this event is inevitable;2) there is a set time for it;3) angels will descend to bear witness;4) all people would be brought back to life;5) there will be warnings and announcements preceding it;6) prophesied Sure Signs of Allah will confirm Qiyamat;7) Koran to be used as proof of authenticity to humankind;8) there will be a Caller from within (place quite near);9) the verse revealing Qiyamat will be collected from all over the Koran, promulgated, recited and explained;10) many will not be aware that Qiyamat is taking place;11) Allah will not address those hiding His revelations;12) Allah will not be purifying the transgressors;13) messengers of Allah on Earth to deliver Warning;14) families will be bitterly divided over the Good News;15) believers will be in bliss, the disbelievers dismayed;16) Jesus would be one of the Signs of the Hour. All these Sure Signs have been fulfilled by Shri Mataji, as well as major prophecies of the Bible, Bhagavad-Gita and other scriptures. The aim of this forum and related websites is to give recognition to the interconnectedness of all faiths and traditions so that the human family are able to see the forest despite the trees. Please contribute your knowledge towards this end.warmest regards, jagbir
Guest guest
I apologize. I could not find (in this Tablet) any specific quotation concerning Bahaullah being the Comforter. However, He does proclaim that He is the Spirit of Truth. Again I invite you to read His entire Tablet so that you can appreciate His message within context. He says: Open the doors of your hearts. He Who is the Spirit verily standeth before them. Wherefore banish ye Him Who hath purposed to draw you nigh unto a Resplendent Spot? Say: We, in truth, have opened unto you the gates of the Kingdom. Will ye bar the doors of your houses in My face? This indeed is naught but a grievous error. He, verily, hath again come down from heaven, even as He came down from it the first time. Beware lest ye dispute that which He proclaimeth, even as the people before you disputed His utterances. Thus instructeth you the True One, could ye but perceive it. The river Jordan is joined to the Most Great Ocean, and the Son, in the holy vale, crieth out: `Here am I, here am I O Lord, my God!', whilst Sinai circleth round the House, and the Burning Bush calleth aloud: `He Who is the Desired One is come in His transcendent majesty.' Say, Lo! The Father is come, and that which ye were promised in the Kingdom is fulfilled! This is the Word which the Son concealed, when to those around Him He said: `Ye cannot bear it now.' And when the appointed time was fulfilled and the Hour had struck, the Word shone forth above the horizon of the Will of God. Beware, O followers of the Son, that ye cast it not behind your backs. Take ye fast hold of it. Better is this for you than all that ye possess. Verily He is nigh unto them that do good. The Hour which We had concealed from the knowledge of the peoples of the earth and of the favoured angels hath come to pass. Say, verily, He hath testified of Me, and I do testify of Him. Indeed, He hath purposed no one other than Me. Unto this beareth witness every fair-minded and understanding soul. Announce thou unto the priests: Lo! He Who is the Ruler is come. Step out from behind the veil in the name of thy Lord, He Who layeth low the necks of all men. Proclaim then unto all mankind the glad-tidings of this mighty, this glorious Revelation. Verily, He Who is the Spirit of Truth is come to guide you unto all truth. He speaketh not as prompted by His own self, but as bidden by Him Who is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. No group has yet admitted responsibility for the attack. But violence between opposing militants from the majority Sunni and minority Shia communities has claimed hundred of lives in Pakistan in recent years.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/2790493.stmDear Ishmael, Vonda and SYs,The above is just one of the numerous murderous tit-for-tats between Shias and Sunnis, all carried out over doctrinal differences. The Shias, who belief in the Imam Mahdi, comprise 20% of the population and are at the receiving end. The Sunnis are particularly picking off the Shia elite like doctors and those in positions of power.Professor Akbar in his book Islam Today downplays the differences in Islam between the Shias and Sunnis. i have found this surprising.i will again have to say that the Malaysian Muslims are a far cry from their Pakistani brethren. Yesterday i had a talk with a Punjabi who has a number of close Pakistani friends. His stories have again reinforced what i have pointed in the recent posts regarding hajis and Muslims from Pakistan. Just like other humans there are the good, bad and ugly. i believe that entrenched religious fundamentalism in Pakistan is making more of them bad, and some ugly enough to murder in the name of Allah.Vonda, i will reply by tomorrow as my son/daughter had hogged the computer the whole day. In the meantime is it possible to get some Comforter specific quotes of Baha'u'llah? That will make replying easier and save time scrolling for such quotes. Thanks.warmest regards, jagbir
