Guest guest
Dear Jagbir, in post 188 you mentioned the tendency of some yogis to mistakenly declare Sri Mataji is God. I recently had an email from a yogi in another state who said he has been suprised at the number of people he has recently heard making this same assertion and also commented on the way many people still try to see God as external. He remarked that Sri Mataji says " When you know who you are, then you will know who I am " and the point is where we become ananya bhakti, where we become the Self. I have been trying to find a puja talk where Sri Mataji refers to the time when She told Gregoire (presumably when he was writing the Advent) that She was not God almighty and how stunned he was. I suppose coming from a patriachal perspective many people make that assumption (an intellectual one), before they become awake to the Divine Feminine (I really enjoyed that post on Islam and the Divine Feminine, 180, by the way). There are lots of talks where Sri Mataji tells us how we have to rise to a certain standard for Her to be able to bring us to Our Father and how no excuses can be made if we are not ready, that although, as a Mother She is forgiving and compassionate, Sri Sada Shiva doesn't " do " compassion. So it is hard to see how anyone can fail to note that God has manifest His Desire, His Love as the Divine Feminine, Shri Adi Shakti but also of course He must be beyond the manifest. The only reason people could make this error is because they are trying to impress new people with their " knowledge " . I suppose it is a sort of test to sort out the subtle from the gross. Only the Brave and the Bhaktas can really worship God. Jai Sri Mataji from Lyndal
