The situation is even worse in neighbouring Guatemala, where 150 women were killed in the first three months of this year - twice as many as a year ago. Many had been dismembered. . . . Both El Salvador and Guatemala are plagued by thousands of street gangs whose initiation rites often involve taking part in random murders. San Salvador, EL SALVADOR Many killed in Moscow festival blasts Up to 20 people have been killed in a series of explosions at a rock concert at the Tushino airfield in north-western Moscow, Russian news agencies say. Police sources suggest that one or more suicide bombers may have been responsible. The Interfax news agency said the first explosion happened after guards at the entrance to the festival arrested a woman. It is thought she may have triggered explosives she was carrying in a belt. Another woman is reported to have detonated the second blast, although there are conflicting reports on whether it exploded at the concert or at a nearby market. Thousands of people were at the " Krylya " (Wings) festival which is a popular summer event for young music fans in Moscow.
