Guest guest
Yes, you have asked about this before OK, Look at the 'compose' page of your Mail account: One field says 'To', another two 'Cc' and 'Bcc', and then 'Subjects'. In between the 'Subject' and the composing space there is a field saying 'Attachments: [Attach Files]' (it maybe elsewhere in other accounts than , but the principle is identical, so look closely and you will find it). You click on it and then you have a page appearing that gives you the option of downloading up to three files. They can only be downloaded from your computer, so you have to browse the disc units (by clicking on 'Browse'), choose your file and click on 'Attach' and then 'Done'. After that you send the e-mail in an ordinary way (with or without text). Now, notice: if the attachment(s) is/are very large, it may take up to a week after sending till the msg arrives at the list, and when there are technical difficulties with , it wouldn't arrive at all. After two tries the procedure is mastered... What i REALLY want is the image appearing together with the post but NOT as an attachment. In other words the moment we check the post the photo is there already. Please check SY Christian Akplogan's post: shriadishakti/message/830 shriadishakti/message/865 shriadishakti/message/858 Maybe you can ask him the technique and get back to me. Better still just post it here so that we will all learn to fish. jagbir
Guest guest
Hi, Yes, I know. This thing happens only with html documents. If you take a webpage with pictures and send it, it will appear together with the text. But not a jpg or some other photographic stuff. Neither does it work with WinWord (Notepad is alright, but it's only plane text). Try an html attachment, and see what I mean. rgds shriadishakti , " jagbir singh " <adishakti_org> wrote: > shriadishakti , " Furat " <springingriver> > wrote: > > > > Yes, > > > > you have asked about this before > > > > OK, > > > > Furat, > > Thanks for the info.
