The vote to confirm Canon Gene Robinson as bishop of New Hampshire was delayed two hours before it was to take place on Monday, when allegations against him were made public. He has been accused of touching another man inappropriately, and of being associated with a group whose website is alleged to link to pornographic sites. New Hampshire, USA Bomb wrecks top Jakarta hotel A bomb explosion has killed at least 13 people and injured many others at the luxury Marriott Hotel in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. The blast damaged five floors of the American-run hotel, shattering glass and damaging cars parked outside. Indonesian Defence Minister Matori Abdul Jalil said it was caused by a bomb and was " clearly an act of terrorism " . Jakarta, INDONESIA Charges mount against Chiluba Zambia's former president Frederick Chiluba has been charged with the theft of almost $30m during his 10 years in office. Mr Chiluba was picked up on Tuesday morning from his house and taken to a police station in the capital, Lusaka, where he was formally charged with 48 counts of theft.
