Instead we will just reflect on the lines above to fathom the depth we are all sinking despite having clutched at straws. Probably this enhancing of wealth and job prospects is the new low in Sahaja Yoga since Shri Mataji opened the Sahasrara. i want no part in this begging stance by impoverished SYs to attract seekers to empty collective programs and deserted ashrams. What will be next? - hot meals and warm accommodation for homeless seekers! How about free syringes and condoms for pleasure seekers! Surely this is an untapped niche of society that SYs have not yet exploited. Shri Mataji's rapid receding from the world scene, as Her complete absence form the Shri Krishna Puja starkly points out, is a fitting finale to those who spent so much time and energy portraying Sahaja Yoga for what it never was. Yes, we SYs NEVER had the courage and conviction to tell the world the plain truth, and invented all sorts of ideas and egos to speculate the consequences of doing so. Recently an established SY even protested to me that we cannot enforce our will on the people, and indirectly accused Shri Mataji of the same offence. That is what I meant by ideas and egos of SYs trying to justify their own shortcomings, and attack those who bruise their agnyas. Shri Mataji has more than done Her job on Earth .............. many times over for more than three decades. After all these years there is not much to show for. The North American collective has not grown is the last 10 years, and is stagnant. Most states in America and Canada do not even have a single SY. Just imagine that - not even a single SY when Shri Mataji wanted 1600 devotees years ago! We SYs can only blame ourselves for failing, and let's finally begin admitting that we failed miserably. (I winch when some Sys loudly admire the emperor's new clothes, despite the naked truth.) It is time the rank and file take matters in their own hands and explain what Sahaja Yoga is all about. All I know is that it is not about free programs on wealth, job prospects, health, stress management, subtle system, chakras, catches, kundalinis, lemons, chillies, and bhoots. That is what we have telling the whole world for more than three decades. So far no one really gives a damn when they can pay for expensive gurus preaching from luxurious yoga studious. Hope it is not a steep learning curve, jagbir
