Guest guest Posted October 18, 2003 Report Share Posted October 18, 2003 My Dear Jagbir, I am going to India in December to do more studies and meditation at the Shree Suraj Aashram.....i read all of the works that you mentioned,,,,Rumi, Kabir, Nanak,,,,and belong to several groups that present their divine love poems and works and i guess i did not make myself as clear as i wanted or needed to, because what i was saying is that i was coming out of a christian atmosphere where they believe that they have the only truth and all of the truth and looking down on all others,,,,and i felt like from what i was reading,,,that the same thing is going on in this forum,,,,i also read the Bhagavad Gita, and many other works,,,unfortunately,,,i do not personally have the quran but have read inserpts online.....i too believe in the resurrection and that we will all stand before the judgment seat some day soon,,,,but i also believe in the incarnation,,,,,and i also believe in the reincarnation,,,,,because if my interpretations of what i read is not wrong, i have found evidence of all of it in the great writings of all of the Masters. I am just a lowly servant who knows nothing actually and a seeker and a lover of the truth,,,,,i just want to be pleasing in the Father's sight and go home to be with HIM...and just want to love everybody, no matter what they believe and help to bring peace and comfort to this confused and tormented world....that is all,,,,,i do not claim to be a christian, but rather a follower of Jesus,,,,,Jesus was not even a christian,,,,they came about much later,,,,he had followers and they were called believers and even He tried to tell them the way by going inside of yourself to find the door that leads to the treasure,,,,the true riches,,,,i was invited by a friend who is an Sy to join this group, who was faithful in her call by telling others and she is so very, very sweet and nice and i try not to label anyone but to love all truly from my heart.....i don't want to hurt anyone, but want to be a help, don't want to put anyone down,,,but want to encourage and lift up,,,,don't want to teach, but want to learn and to share and love and enjoy my brothers and sisters, that's all....... love, pamela (softmelody) shriadishakti wrote: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
