Another reader needs answers to view of world in moral crisis

Hello and Blessings.

 

I have read with interest the introduction to your site. Whilst I

accept that mankind has a great need to transform both himself and

the world to a higher state I find it difficult to see that this is

happening at the current time.

 

On just one front, tens of thousands of helpless, unborn children

are mercilessly killed for the sake of sexual, financial and or

sociological convenience. This is surely a great evil, that humans

do and is allowed by many countries around the world. Including

Britain the US and most of Europe.

 

On a second front we see that the governments of the most powerful

nations are utterly secular in nature and take no heed whatsoever to

religious teachings, morality or right and wrong. This secularism is

broadcast and promoted to such a large extent that it is now rare to

find just one religious soul in the west. Even those that are or

claim to be, still adhere to the amorality of secularism.

 

Third. We find that Western minds at least are bombarded daily with

political and sociological conditioning via the television and media

and one finds that the views of the many often correspond to the

views put forth via some silly soap opera on tv.

 

Finally but not exhaustibly, we find that secularism is at war with

religion. One cannot put one's religion above secular law, no matter

how ancient and revered the scripture. There are many conflicts

between righteousness, morality, scriptural, revealed teachings and

secular law. Not least of which is abortion, homosexuality, (a

psycho sexual disorder with many causation modalities currently

ignored and untreated by medicine).

 

Given the above I find it hard to see how mankind is evolving at

all. On the contrary I see that we are devolving into an atheistic

secular tyranny (evidenced by the aggressive militarist stance

currently taken by the USA and the UK) and the constant anti

religious propaganda in film and on Tv.

 

I would be most pleased if you could show me that my view is

incorrect and that indeed mankind is heading for a transformation to

enlightened existence.
