Guest guest
I am sorry that I am taking you back first to what sister Latika had said about Jagbir's post of one of Chinmoy's devotees. The post detailed how a so called guru can stoop down to in taking advantage of vulnerable people who are also seekers. Some of the points of that message and other Chinmoys devotees posts were IMO 1)to warn and in the process maybe " shock " some people as to what a " guru " can do - best to learn and be aware from someone else's experience than your own 2)to show that true seekers can still keep seeking despite being hurt by false gurus 3)although we are blessed to get SR from Mother , we should not look at devotees of other gurus as lesser beings and have that " holier than thou attitude " because as far as seeking is concerned we were like them once but lucky enough to be blessed by Shree Mataji For sister Latika to react the way she reacted was quite surprising to say the least whatever country she maybe residing in. Here in Malaysia which is a moderate Islamic country we have had just as explicit detail of sex and murder in the newspapers recently and we are a conservative country to say the least. Just to give an example:let us say that a group of people want to know how childbirth occurs – you can sanitize it and show bits and pieces leaving out the actual birth with blood , private parts(rest of body covered) and the associated pain or show the true picture. In this case it was like reacting and protesting to the showing of private parts and blood rather than being enlightened what true childbirth is. I hardly remember who , when and how the woman was taken advantage of by Chinmoy but what I will remember the rest of my life is what a false guru like Chinmoy is capable of .Sex is taboo to a lot of us but it also a part of life and it all boils down as to how we look at in.
