Alo Devi holds the official position of Mother of the Universe, Sri

Chinmoy's shakti through the ages since they were rose petals

together. But unofficially, although just about everyone knows it,

she is " crazy " and " fallen " , " lost her realization " , gives Sri

Chinmoy terrible headaches all the time and is to be laughed at,

sneered at and deceived at all times. She spends most of her time,

and most of the naive newer disciples' money, travelling the globe

to set up the annual 3 month Xmas trips - this year in China. This

keeps her out of Sri Chinmoy's way so he can live his life the way

he likes (and we have all been reading how that goes) and so he can

collect money all the time from his disciples that Alo cannot get

her hands on.

 

The second person you asked about is Sri Chinmoy's hatchet man. He

tells people they have to leave - usually without giving a reason

and he also doubles as a stuntman getting lots of publicity for

his " celibate guru " because the guru himself is rather shy of the

media these days (it must be hard for him!). The stuntman appeared

on Australian TV last week - tongue-in-cheek chuckles from the news-

readers and the comment " that man needs to find something to do! "

The stuntman looked totally different from when I knew him.

 

The third person you mention is not in the Centre anymore. He left

or more likely was kicked out as he is not stupid. As a disciple, he

maintained contact with his good ex-disciple friends which is a no-

no for Sri Chinmoy and he knows all aboput the allegations. He is in

a good position to know what is likely to be the truth.

 

The last person is still there. Her daughter became Sri Chinmoy's

closest disciple but left him a few years ago (like his other very

close female disciples, one of the women alleging sexual

exploitation and Devadip's wife).

 

If you contact the Sri Chinmoy Centre in New York, you are likely to

talk to the stuntman himself, but I don't imagine you will get any

cooperation. Cults like this one keep things very closed.
