Guest guest
Since i have been reading this website for almost a year and in the forums for 5 months or so, i have to to know that sahaja yoga collectives are, for the most part, not condusive to progressing in sahaja yoga, possibly even a deterrant. Even when i went to my first and only sahaja yoga collective meeting to get my realisation (which i haven't continued working on as u know) most of the people there seemed quite miserable and the leaders teaching the class didn't seem that warm, or for that matter all that happy. I don't understand how these people can use all these treatments and even just meditate twice a day and such, yet still catch and still be much like regular people; i would thin kthey would be much different. I was curious; for what good are collectives at all? Say for example you have alot of issues to work out and possible possesion or whatever, is it benifical to attend collective meetings and have them work on you until those issues have been dealt with and then leave to persue your path in sahaj, or should they be avoided all together? (now i am talking about someone JUST starting with sahaj) Also, being away from these collective, what does shri mataji mean by you can only progress in sahaja through collectivity and passing on sahaja yoga, if the " collectives " are left and the yogi is to practice on his own?( excuse me if i misinterpreted her words or am simply taken her words in the wrong contect) just curious. Thankx for your time kyyan

Collectivity doesn't mean that we should all stick together " The joy we feel during music recital is because Kundalini is dancing. She gets happy, because you ask for nothing but enjoyment of collectivity. Collectivity doesn't mean that we should all stick together. Collectivity means wherever you are, you are connected. When you are connected you love that person and are concerned about that person. The connecting line is of love and not of hatred. But people will live together and break each other's head. That is because they are nowhere near the real growth of Sahaja Yogis. You may be in any part of the world but you are connected and are concerned. As soon as there is a problem in any part of the world, you are connected and effective and you can manage. People don't really understand the meaning of collectivity. Where there is not the other- Ananya. There is no other personality. These personalities are separated from you because of left and right or both. You are yourself fully connected when you are absolutely detached and your Kundalini is dancing. You are alone and never alone. This oneness with the other gives you all the security and the joy you want. That's why the Kundalini awakening means collectivity. Unless and until you want pure collectivity in your being Kundalini won't rise " . (Kundalini Puja, Germany, 1991 ...and this means love your neighbor like you love yourself. There is nobody else.It is not you and the other.Collectivity doesn't mean that we should all stick together. You can be alone,on an island, and yet be collective.....
