Dear All, Some SYs must have given strange personal views in response to the Asian tsunami. One of the main reasons i had to stop reposting from divinesahajyoga is to prevent further contradictions and confusion. That group is run by youngsters who are still immature. What they sometimes post as personal wisdom makes me shake my head in disbelief. Since theirs is a members-only moderated group that is closed to the public it hardly matters. Except for carefully checked SY-Only members outsiders cannot read what they write. But when some absurd or insensitive personal opinions and remarks are irresponsibly reposted/spammed on this public forum where there are many non-SYs/ex-SYs, it becomes difficult to contain the damage. (These new seekers may begin to wonder why some SYs have funny ways to mitigate such pain and horror? They may even suspect that most SYs are of the same mindset, which is not the case, and begin having doubts about joining Sahaja Yoga.) i wonder why none of these SYs can explain why 30,000 children die daily, along with a million or more human beings ................. ............... except perhaps for that absurd claim that Shri Ganesha destroys them to save them from a hellish existence on Earth. (The same reasoning conveniently explains away why so many of the tsunami victims were children.) Can any SY comfort mothers whose children have perished with these words of consolation - " Don't feel sad maa. Shri Ganesha has destroyed your children for their own good. Why are you crying and feeling so sad? " ............ Does it make sense? My 2 cents questions: Why does Shri Ganesha allow them to be born in this hellish world in the first place? And why is He so selectively killing thousands in compassion, yet allowing millions to suffer in agony? Can anyone give me a logical explanation? So how are we SYs supposed to confront this terrible tragedy? Just try to understand that far more people perish daily that all the victims of the recent tsunami. If we are oblivious and immune to all this daily death and destruction around us why so much sudden compassion? What about so many millions of children living hellish lives daily all over the world? Why can't we feel their daily pain, hunger and hardship? Why have we become so compassionate almost overnight? IMO, we should just stop any mental speculations about the tragedy, go donate urgently needed money to some relief organization like the Red Cross, and become balanced by learning more of the daily 'tsunamis' wrecking far more death and destruction. Things are only going to get worse in future. Seek the daily protection of the Great Goddess within. Only She can save you from death. That is why no SY has perished in the Asian tsunami. Why do you think for the first time ever Shri Mataji did not hold the annual Christmas celebrations at Ganapatipule, India? -------- " ....Is so shocking for me to know that the village Nirangalai, where I used to go almost each morning for footsoaking in the sea, it was simply washed away. The little house -very close to the sea- , where we stayed with the girls that were studying dancing, must have been completely flooded. Up to now I still don't have exact messages, as the telephone lines were interrupted. I heard that the level of the sea was still 5 meters high even at GANAPATEPULE and the temple was totally flooded. ... Is that the reason why Shri Mataji after so many years and for the first time, didn't send us to Ga napatipule? .... " (Gisela) -------- If you are surrendered to the Adi Shakti She will extend Her promised protection at all times. We SYs have nothing to fear of death because all scriptures proclaim that life is eternal. Live life fully with joy, happiness and hope. Do not let mental speculations and immature opinions of others bother you. Be your own master by getting answers and enlightenment in the thoughtless state. Do not be concerned by what some SYs say about tragedies beyond their comprehension. Do not let tsunamis agitate the mind where the Ultimate Mother is to be visualised as a great and deep lake of Consciousness, uncomprehended by Space and Time. Sri Janma- mrtyu-tapta-jana-visranti-dayini is the Bestower of Peace and Solace on those consumed by evils of life, death and old age. She endows True Knowledge of their Selves. So seek Her protection and guidance from within at all times. Jai Shri Mataji, jagbir
Guest guest
Dear brother Jagbirji, I thank you for response, really. I have given money, like you. but other SYs saying this is not the way, Mother will do everything for SYs in tsunami disaster, and work everything out for us. They say giving money is not sahaj way, but i can't sit down and rest from doing nothing to help. Its little anyway. My cousin is out-of-touch. I think she was at Pune but now I am not certain of this, she has not telephoned and she was plan to go east after puja. We are all very worrying for her. I think of the little children and I cry, how to help them? I looked for advices from SY leaders in many countrys but they all say different, its hard to know what protocol to use. I am praying to Mother for advices direct. I will pray for all the people. This is a selfish way of giving money and conditions you. If you want to donate give money annonymously to help all human beings, not to specific religious organizations collecting funds to help their kind. And don't feel proud and all puffed up if you donate. That was what Shri Mataji was trying to impress on us. It is indeed sad that some SYs do not understand what Shri Mataji is trying to say, and misinterpret/misconstrue Her talks. Please follow your own conscience and not these SYs. You should know there are 12 kinds of SYs, including the foolish and ignorant. jagbir
