Calugar, I was just going to type that your mail was MOVING! I dont know how to express it, but on one side it clarified a lot I have been experiencing of late. It also clarifies a lot of the hidden mysteries in Shri Mataji;s talks. However, At the same time it brings up more questions. If you have the answers, I will be grateful for a reply. What you said about us being our own masters and creating our own reality through a thought form holds so true!! Even shri mataji once cited an example of how one her disciples was thinking that if so and so sahaja yogi comes now, my problems will be solved. And lo and behold, that sahaja yogi appeared. Even he did not know why he came there!! I too have gone through this. If there is a persisiting thought, it does turn to reality! That being the part i agree with, the part i fail to understand is the saying of allah and the camel. Allah will take care of my camel but i have to....? I did not quite get that. Further, if suppose i have a problem. Say, I have some sort of legal problem. The SY approach is to not try to solve it through our own thinking, but to surrender it to shri mataji' lotus feet. I think even our mantra book, 'Nirmalanjali' has affirmations to that effect. Say for instance at the heart chakra we say mother you are taking care of me and i have nothing to fear, by your grace I am fearless! This poses dilemma. For if I am my own guru, then i am creating my reality. On the flip side, if the affirmation holds the entire truth that it is shri mataji taking care of us, then in the first place we dont have any problems. Or if we do, then its part of our DESTINY. I heard mother say that let your detiny wotk it out. Perplexing eh! Hah. Thats why i think its best to surender everything to the divine mother!! Even if I am my own guru, i dont know if the 'thought' form i create will eventually give me happiness or displeasure. Avnish,please don't take my words out of context.The ,,thought,,-form I was talking is the same old bandhan you already know about it.You write with your right palm(you put a thought-form) on your left hand(you put desire on it)...you have to be in thoughtless awareness (surrendering) ...so the divine mother will help you,but you have to chain your camel to the tree first.
