Index finger left paw

Hello All!

 

This is a question unconnected with anything I've read on this

discussion group but just whilst it occurs to me, I wish to

ask " What is the significance of the index finger on the left hand? "

I may have already mentioned about the " Ex " SY person whom I met

years ago in another part of the country and how I have kept in

contact with him all this time. During this time he has (or appears

to have!) gone from being a madly obsessed member of SY (and leader

of a group for a while) to being now madly against it. Yet it is

like a jigsaw puzzle that I have to put together, as I become aware

more and more that so many things he has said seem to " make sense "

if I read them backwards!

 

I was going to visit him and his wife just before I left SY - in

fact it was due to his advice that I left. I was having doubts and

getting frustrated by my seeming inability to communicate properly

with people I met in SY, and although I never found any reason

to " hate " or even really dislike anyone I had met (there were a few

I found very cold and unfriendly that I came across)I was beginning

to feal very disappointed by it all (I think I may have already said

that I consider part of this due to my own shortcomings. I said I

didn't want to come and visit if he was just going to go on and on

about SY all the time! He said if I was having doubts then I should

leave for a while and I would come back. So I did leave.

 

I think I have already told you all about the conversation I had

with this person on the day I left to go back home, after having

visited him at long last, just before Christmas, and said that it

was due to this conversation that I looked on the Net and found this

website.

 

I remember that in the earlier telephone conversation (several years

ago) when I didn't visit him and took his advice and left SY that he

said something about " he was getting something " regarding my index

finger on my right hand, something to do with " the father. " I didn't

know what he meant then, although I did pick up something about each

finger relating to one of the chakras. I still don't know, but I do

know that I have a persistent problem with the top joint of that

finger " cracking " every so often, as it has just done again

recently. I've got very dry skin anyway and other of the joints in

my fingers and thumbs (usually only left hand) crack and bleed

sometimes - can happen when it's cold, can happen in warm weather as

well. I can put loads of cream on them, it still happens. But the

index finger on the left hand is the usual one that I get problems

with. If anyone can throw any light on this I would be grateful!
