However, it is when they suffer from selective memory that they expose themselves as hypocrites who abuse in public what they believe and aspire in private. And when they fail in their attempt to use benevolant spiritual powers for attracting females, they unleash their negativity against those on higher spiritual levels. It is so true that the less successfull they are at visualization to lure back females against their wishes, the more arrogant and fixed are their judgments. Then they forget and abuse what they once believed. SYs just do not use their powers in such ways, unless they are on a low spiritual level like Alex. Tolstoy Singh September 2004 ---------------------------- Dear Jagbir, With regards to your mail on visualization. I've had this repetitive experience. Repetitive because i kept trying it and the result kept coming...consistently. I did have an interest in all things occult, so it was also in sync with what i had learnt earlier. I had visualised a particular friend, an ex girlfriend you could say. We started dating and i moved to delhi to be with her. Just then tragedy struck when her brother passed away and she just shut me out of her life. She did not meet me on one single occasion in Delhi and refused to even admit that we were ever seeing each other. Then she joined an international carrier as an air hostess and said adios for good. On two occasions i shut my eyes and visualised all the good times (Very few actualy) we shared. On both occasions, she sent me a text message saying that she does not know why but my name keeps crossing her mind! I am scared of doing this anymore, because i'm not sure if the divine has a fixed plan for each of us. if that is the case, i would not like to invite trouble by using my little brain to decide the future. After all, she is an air hostess and by virtue of the profession and peers is probably quite 'liberated'. I may keep flooding her with loving thoughts and she may come back into my life, get maried even. But what happens when i stop sending those thoughts? What happenes if she comes into my life and all hell breaks loose? What if i sudenly discover that she will never take to sahaj and therefore stay firmly wrapped in the folds of prakriti/maya? I also agree with you thoroughly that SM lives internally rather than externally. More later Alex
Guest guest
That was an interesting mail Alex, the question often crosses the mind of most people, do we have a fixed destiny, are certain event bound to happen or do we make it as we run along. A lot of mystics/clairvoyants say there is a certain amount that is pre-planned by virtue of the ripening of Karmas....(i think i read gopi krishnas work)...which linger around in our aura in the form of what he calls samskaras, till then ripen. There is however a certain amount of freedom given to man as well, for he is generating karmas with every thought and action that he generates. However, that is of little relevance now, because a sahaja yogi is free of his own karmas. I was skeptical about this, but then look at all the SY's who get saved from calamities, it is indeed a miracle! It would be nice if others added their views too!
