Guest guest
" Change yourself first if u want to see change in others " is a phrase i have heard from many people, including yogis at this forum. I read awhile back on here how we are all connected like a huge comuputer network by our consciousness. It seems to me that the reason behind this ideaology( first change yourself within and then change can be facilitated with others)is that if we are all connected, including our thoughts, then if a person or enough people were to change themselves within and become one with the spirit, then those thoughts and that spirit travels the entire legnth of the " network " . The more people who do this the more powerful the message that is sent throughout that network, eventually overloading the network and spilling over to everyone's waking consciousness. I assume it works on a smaller scale as well. I was just wondering if i am on the right track with that. Any insights would be great kyyan
Guest guest
Dear Kyyan, The " computer " analogy " in reference to " collective consciousness " is the closest description we have to give us an idea of what " collective consciousness " might be. Just imagine if we did not even have the " computer " to give us a " basic " understanding of " collective consciousness. " Your description is interesting. I will try to explain how I understand the workings of the " Divine Mainframe Computer " or " God " in relation to " Collective Consciousness " . For instance, " The Divine Mainframe Computer " or " God " seeks us out and stirs our desire to become more in tune with Him. We become connected to the (Mainframe Computer/God) through Self-Realization and subsequently become " Collectively Conscious " . This is a state of " thoughtless awareness " and a much higher spiritual state than what we were. In this state we are automatically " connected " with Reality instead of " illusion " and " delusion " . We become " connected " with others but on a higher level through this " collective consciousness " . Your " subtle system " is then like a " spiritually connected computer. " When your mind is free of " personal concerning thoughts " and you are in " thoughtless awareness " the Holy Spirit or God (Divine Mainframe Computer) can make you aware of what is happening in Reality. You can ask questions and will receive answers, if you do it genuinely. For example, sometimes, if I have questions and need answers, I will meditate on the question and may receive an answer from my " nahbi " area, which is like a " gut " response and othertimes I will have a " flow " of " pure knowledge " from the Sahasrara. Anybody can experience this if they are " thoughtlessly aware " and don't let their " concerning thoughts " cause " static " . So the " flow " is there; you could say the " data " just flows in if you are " connected " . This requires also " getting into the silence and communing with your Spirit. " You need to become acquainted with the " still small voice within you " . Being close to nature helps. There is a " Mother " within you who speaks to you, if you draw near to Her. When I was " desperately " seeking God with all my heart, I would quietly " tune " into my own inner being and " die " to have " connection " , prefering to " die " rather than not have the " connection " . To my surprise, a " still small feminine voice within me spoke, told me of Her Love for myself Her Child. That is a beautiful thing to experience. When once you experience this; it is never lost if you turn to Her, the Divine Feminine, the Mother. Then when you experience this, you will feel " ecstatic love and joy and peace " . She will also give you knowledge, wisdom, and other gifts of Her choosing. One of the Beatles, John Lennon, wrote a song, expressing this:- " Mother Mary comes to me " " Speaking words of wisdom " " Let it be; let it be. " Then, as you do this, and " connect " deeply, the world receives more " spiritual vibrations " through you. As more and more people do this, the " spiritual vibrational level " of the whole world increases and there is a point where when a certain percentage is achieved; that it goes into people's waking consciousness. For example, not that many years ago, not many people in the " West " meditated, or they thought it was a " weird " thing to do. It is so very different today, because this " knowledge " has " spilled " over into the mainstream. The same will happen with all this " higher knowledge " that is coming into the world at this time. The only thing that is important is to realize that nobody can take this " journey " for you. It is a " personal inward " journey for each " Seeker. " When we are " connected " to this Divine Mainframe Computer " we all experience Absolute Truth, Collective Consciousness and Bliss. It is the greatest " voyage " you will ever take in your lifetime; the " voyage within " . There may be " weights " that you have to drop off so you can " climb higher " but as you " climb higher " the air is " fresher " and " purer " and you are closer to the " sun " .
