i have an excellent server Interland, one of the top ten in America.

Interland, Inc. (Nasdaq: INLD) is the largest Web hosting and online

services company dedicated to helping small and medium companies. So

we are assured of stability, reliability and technical help, even

though it comes at a premium.

Right now i can spare 200 MB and that can easily take of the present

needs of the forum. If in future there is a need for more space we

will consider contributions.

The set-up will be done by a SY who wishes to remain annonymous. We

will respect that. (Ana you have more time now.)

So with all that taken care and the categories improved i suggest we

look into the moderators. Since the forum will be set up on my

servers i will decline the post of moderator, even if voted. So

please respect my wish.

i suggest we have 6 moderators split equally between brothers and

sisters. These are my suggestions:

1) Ana Trandafir - experience/knowledge/academic background

2) Violet Tubb - knowledge/dedication to Divine Message

3) Semira - dedication to Divine Message/moderator qualities

4) Dr. Balwinder - moderator experience/dedication to Divine

Message/professional background as Rhinology superspecialist

5) ......

6) ......

These are just my suggestions as i think the Divine Message must

remain the indestructible foundation of the forum. i would want

others to add their 2 cents and get the moderators we need. We

should finalize and set up the forum by March 21st.

regards,

jagbir

i have upgraded this to 500 MB shared for both file systems and

database. There are also extra features on this new plan. So we have

lots of spare capacity that can be utilized by anyone for any Sahaja

Yoga purpose.

The Shri Adi Shakti forum provides opportunities for people who are

dedicated to the Divine Message of the Adi Shakti Shri Mataji Nirmala

Devi. Our Discussion Forums provide the perfect opportunity for anyone

who can translate that Divine Message into constructive and energetic

dialogs through their writing, communication, and facilitation skills.

Becoming a Great Moderator

The best Moderators are skilled arbitrators/facilitators who are able

to keep rs within the focus and stated purpose of their

Forum/categories. In some cases, the purpose is defined with a narrow

focus. Other times, the focus is wider allowing for the conversations

to flow unfettered. It is up to each Moderator to pick a style that

suits their personality and allows their passion and enthusiasm for a

particular focus to consistently shine through.

Another job of the moderator is to stimulate conversation in the

forum. By being active a few days each week, you will increase the

interest in your Forum/category. A good Moderator ensures that his/her

Forum is inviting, active, and an asset to the collective as a whole.

What does ''moderating'' really mean ?

Generally, Moderators have a threefold responsibility:

- Ensure that rs are following the protocol of realized

souls

- Ensure there is transparency and honesty in projecting the Divine

Message

- Encourage questions, dialogue and assist new members foster lively

discussion

Authority and Responsibilities of the Moderator

Moderators can:

- Post a new topic

- Post replies

- Be notified via email of each new post or topic

- Edit messages

- Delete topics or messages

- Move topics or messages to appropriate Boards

- Make announcements

Benefits of being a Moderator - How can being a moderator help you?

- It's a blessing to fulfill this sacred duty of emancipating

humanity

- Moderators usually have an intense desire in enlightening humanity

- Build exposure amongst Shri Adi Shakti's online community

Overall Role of a Moderator

- Introduce topics

- Monitor discussion behavior

- Move discussions along

- Main goal: get people talking

- You might want to engage friends and colleagues to Shri Adi Shakti

Forum. As we build-up our presence, participation will naturally grow

Level of Participation - Take it easy, or be proactive

Depends on your personality. Some take a back seat: Simply introduce

topics and then just monitor discussions, to ensure things don't get

out of hand. Others take an active role: contribute his/her opinions

on a regular basis

Moderator Authority - Scope and Responsibilities

- Send standardized warning IM & e-mail messages to those who " abuse "

the board

- Professional conduct is expected. Inappropriate postings or those

which may discourage others from posting messages may result in

suspension or removal from Shri Adi Shakti Forum

- Discuss and take views of other moderators on how to best project

the vision of Shri Mataji

- Lead/transform others to follow a spiritual life
