Guest guest
Dear Danny, Except for Ana all the chosen moderators had volunteered earlier. Since they had done so earlier i did not see any reason for them refusing such a honored duty to serve Shri Mataji. All the four moderators suggested were more than happy for the privilege. Ana was chosen because she was the one who brought up the idea and was more than qualified to serve. She was the only SY to bring out the bbforum idea. Ana richly deserves it because she initiated it and has already done a lot of work to implement it. Anuj was chosen because he had volunteered earlier. Such SYs deserve to be moderators because they voluteered in the first place. i just cannot include you because it will be unfair to the remaining five. Just because they are quiet does not mean they do not want it. i think they are humble souls who prefer not to be pushy, not that they do not want to be moderators. Danny, you must remember they had earlier volunteered their time and services. We have to respect such souls and let them know we value such SYs. Please try to see things differently and let the members decide. Thank you. regards, jagbir , " kriptodanny " <kriptodanny> wrote: > > , " jagbir singh " > <adishakti_org> wrote: > > > > Dear members, > > > > Due to request from members privately i have decided to choose the > > last remaining moderator by popular choice. > > > > Dear Jagbir > > May I remind you that you have chosen already the moderators without > asking them.... Guest guest
Dear Friends, I do not wish to offend anyone by this post, but this issue is weighing heavily on my mind, and I feel that I should share my honest opinion with everyone here. To ensure fairness to all members, all moderators should be nominated and approved in the same manner. To do otherwise at this stage risks causing controversy and ill-feeling among everyone involved. To be fair to everyone here, no one other than Danny has come forward offering their services as the last moderator, so I would like to suggest that he be accepted for the post. All the other moderators have been nominated due to their offers of help, and the post of the last moderator should be subject to the same condition. I really feel that a poll created at this stage can only cause unpleasantness among the candidates; and whoever gets chosen in this way, will feel unpleasant about this issue. For the following reasons, I really think that Danny should have been on the previous shortlist of candidates, and in the circumstances, should certainly be considered now. The reasons that I have for recommending him are -he is very active on the forum and contributes informative material -he has a lot of knowledge and perception about the scriptures and their meaning -he is totally dedicated to the Divine Message -he is very helpful with regards meditation and related questions -often his sharp and harsh comments have been intended to spark people into reacting, so that something may be learned I hope that this issue may be carefully considered and resolved to the satisfaction of everyone, Regards, Semira

When i said being pushy i was refering to the five who volunteered, and not you. So please do not feel hurt that i was talking about you. The reason i had to bring a poll is because: 1) i wanted to be fair to those who had volunteered earlier, as stated before. Danny, if you had done so a few weeks ago there was no way i would have refused you after accepting Anuj. You must understand my point of view and reasons for doing so. i just do not want to brush them aside even if no one has come forward. 2) some members were concerned with the way you sometimes deal with fellow members. i have to defer to their wishes too. So i decided to have a poll for the last moderator. We must understand that there will always be more moderators needed in future. Once the bbforum begins to take in more members we will need more moderators. Why not let the present members decide on this last moderator Danny? The may vote for you after all (even if you have declined). And even if they do not there is always the possibility in the future. Surely they will recognize your contributions, if they have not done so by now. Danny, i declined myself so that there would be one more place. We can make significant contributions by being just members too, whether chosen or not. So let's collectively make this new forum a success by implementing Shri Mataji's Divine Message to humanity. We all must learn to work together as a team. regards, jagbir
