Suicide is the primary cause of death among young Chinese, according

to figures published in the state media. The Beijing Suicide Reseach

and Prevention Centre has reportedly found that the number of

suicide cases has soared in recent years.

 

An estimated 250,000 Chinese now take their own lives every year,

according to the figures published in the China Daily newspaper.

 

An additional 2.5-3.5m people are said to make unsuccessful suicide

attempts.

 

Suicide is the fifth major cause of death among China's 1.3 bn

population, but the main cause of death for people aged between 20

and 35.

 

" Society is full of pressure and competition, so young people,

lacking experience in dealing with difficulties, tend to get

depressed, " Beijing psychiatrist Liu Hong told the China Daily.

Enlightened people, writers, philosophers and social reformers are

beginning to realize the necessity of moving away from the extremes

of a patriarchal society in which competition, resulting in

pressure, depression and suicide are prevalent. Shri Mataji Nirmala

She has given us the Gift of Self-Realization or the Second Birth as

described in the Bible that Jesus has prophesied would come at this

time. This has enabled many people to experience for the first time

the connection of their Spirit which manifests as a Cool Breeze of

the Holy Ghost as on the Day of Pentecost.

 

This Second Birth makes us new beings; spiritual beings. We become

our Spirit. We realize we are not this body, not this mind, not

these emotions, but we are the Spirit. We realize we are connected

to the Whole of Creation. This is echoed in the Christian song,

which says... " We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the

Lord " .

 

All the incarnations and prophets after whom religions have been

formed by the patriarchy, spoke about the essential Spirit within us

in one way or the other. Unfortunately, the partriarchs also

organized God's Truth, claiming themselves to be the only path to

achieve God often effectively thereby exiling a lot of people from

God if they did not comply with their demands.

 

Patriarchy is noted for its tactics of Divide and Conquer.

Diarmuid O'Murchu, in his book " Religion in Exile - A Spiritual

Homecoming...states that " Formal religion is an invention of the age

of patriarchy. Its primary purpose is not about revealing God's

design for humanity, but about validating the masculine will-to-

power, in its insatiable desire to conquer and control the whole of

creation. (p.202-203)

 

However, Shri Mataji has come in order to reveal God's design for

humanity and also to unite humanity. She has taught us how the

essence of all these religions going back to their original

Incarnation or Prophet did have the Truth, though today the Truth

has been badly distorted. She teaches us to be our own Gurus when we

have this gift of the Second Birth. We no longer follow man but

follow the God or Holy Spirit within ourselves.

 

When our global societies gradually evolve over time to embrace this

New Way of cooperation and compassion by imbibing the Motherly Way

of God, we will experience a New Age called Sat Yuga. There will be

no competition for resources to the detriment of another person;

there will be no undue pressure for everyone will do what they are

best at doing; there will be no depression when people will have the

Spirit in their hearts and have compassion for and help each other.

 

The Divine will be felt to be on Earth again within All and as

expressed in the Lord's Prayer... " Thy will be done on Earth as it

is in Heaven " ; as Jesus taught us to pray will come true when enough

of us desire it.
