Guest guest
Dear Friends, Last night during meditation in the time of thoughtless awareness, a vision of a woman appeared to me. Her face was of incredibly bright light. She appeared to me specifically 3 times. I was reminded of the eve of the crucifiction; and of how the disciple Peter gave in to his fear and doubt, and denied that he was a follower of Christ 3 times. It was as if the woman in the vision was appearing in specific confirmation to counteract the 3 denials of Peter. These are times of great testing, and we all have to remain true to ourselves, and listen to our inner voice. Our strength will come from within. Love, Semira
Guest guest
Dear Semira Your vision sounds similar to one of the recorded visions of the 12th century German nun, Elisabeth of Schonau, interpreted as being of the Virgin Mary. The (male) Jewish mystics of 13th century Germany known as the Pietists had similar visions. And the great Russian philosopher, Vladimir Soloviev had a similar vision in the desert in Egypt, which for him was of Sophia (Divine Wisdom). If any of these are of interest I can send you the details.
