Guest guest
Apart from arguing whether SY works, we could discuss about various techniques we can use to cleanse our chacras, details concerning them and instructions on SY " ceremonies " such as Havan etc. I happen to know some, and once I collect them I shall send them if anyone is inetrested. Yoga (means " union " ). Together they mean that " this union you can have with God Almighty is 'born with you'. Shri Mataji named the Organization of Sahaja Yoga after this 'union you can have with God Almighty that is born with you " . It would seem to me that it is yourself arguing with yourself about whether Sahaja Yoga really works. When people experience the Divine within, with the Kundalini doing the clearing for them, why do they need to rely on rituals? Relying on rituals are only for those who need it, such as yourself, who have obviously not yet truly turned to the Shakti within. i can say this because those who do turn to the Shakti within, find they do not have to rely on rituals. i am hearing a protest from you that this is not possible, but, yes it is. Here is what Chuck says about your post though, so i think it may give you something to meditate on, as he is a new Sahaja Yogi and you do not want to put him off, do you?) Dear Jagbir and Violet, I have just seen your responce to my message and was rather shoched. It is the first time in my life indeed, that someone can so easily and airily pass judgement on a totally unknown person. Just for your information, I am absolutely against rituals and cult-like ceremonies, but this doesn't meen that I am not interested in finding anything I can manage out. I myself have taken part in a Havan. We used candles and I was beforehand informed that many SY argue on the adviseability of it. Frankly, I didn't feel any vibrations, but that was a general truth for that time. (I have barely been in SY for a month). I didn't see anything ofencive or harmful and that alone should be sufficient to give candle Havan a break and not be so bitter. We can show our protest in different and more descent ways, and not by usig phrases " such as yourself " . If you were born flawless and genious, fine with me but I didn't and I make mistakes and have questions. Loads of questions. Apart from ceremonies I asked for details on chacras. I personally have read Mother's talks where she states that footsoaking should be taking place on a daily basis and shoebeating is important too. Of course ABOVE ALL is our attention, our spiritual ascent and TRUST to God. This doesn't meen that cleansing techniques are rubbish. Shri Mataji teached a lot of them. Definitely all I do (which include mantras and bandan mainly). I know there are details on the subtle system, because a friend gave me some things to keep temporarily and a book about SY that is not the mantra book is included. I noticed only yesterday. I must apologize I didn't introduce myself yesterday. I started SY 1,5 years ago, having less than a clue about the religious side of it. I left a month later because my friends wouldn't tell me who Shri Mataji exactly is. They were telling that she is a woman that was born with her Self Realization. Then I found out that SY was herretic and left the very same day. I took up yoga to become more concetrated and because it would help me get rid of negativity I got from using tarrot cards. A year later I took it up again, now fully aware that who Shri Mataji claims to be, and under the affection of some coinsidences that took place then. It's been some months now, and I thing I progressed well. Untill two months ago when I had to go and leave with my parents and was unable to meditate. Now I am back and start meditating again, slowly but steadily. I have found loads of talks and interesting forums such adishakti.org that helped me understand a lot of things. Yet I find that day by day I understand them more and more easily. Please don't consider me as a ritual obsessed guy. I just want to find out as many I can.
