Violet,

I was curious.....it is said often, and rightfully so, that one

should turn to the shakti within in order to escape all falsehoods,

clear blokages, heal wounds on all levels etc etc, but i am not sure

how one does that. To turn to the shakti within, how is that done

exactly?

Also i wanted to know if mantras, the divine mantras, are they

rituals as well or is that turning to the shakti within, since those

very mantras connect us and activiate the dieties within us,which

were all created by The shakti and all are all apart of her. I mean

those mantras help heal you and help strenthen many aspects of

connection to the divine, so to me, as i write this, it seems that

this may possible be hat is meant by leaving the rituals behind and

turning o the shakti within.

Could u lease clarify and also touch on if the mantras are not

included in the rituals of which we are speaking.

Thank you

Kyyan

Dear Kyyan,

i have put in a few separate explanations that i hope will help to

clarify these questions for you.

Divine Mantras…

Divine Mantras are not cleansing techniques. Divine Mantras are

prayers or poems of praise to the One God in His various aspects.

Divine Mantras are said from your Spirit and from your Soul. They

are not said from your energy centres or from your body.

When you say them in devotion, they do awaken the sleeping Deities

within, who in turn manifest the Cool Breeze of the Holy Ghost and

also all the

spiritual qualities within you without any effort on your part. As

you praise

God, which is the same as 'doing bhakti', God is pleased and pours

His Grace and

Blessings of the Holy Spirit on you.

The Lord's Prayer, for example is a Divine Mantra which Jesus gave.

Shri Mataji

also gave us Divine Mantras (in Sanskrit) which praise the different

qualities

or aspects of the One God. By praising these aspects of God, they

awaken God's

qualities in us, much in the same way as for example, when we praise

a friend,

we feel even further love from our friend because we have shown our

appreciation. Our relationship with the Shakti is similar, where if

we show love

and appreciation to Her, She manifests more and more within us, Her

Children.

Escaping Falsehoods….

All the original teachings of all the prophets and Divine

Incarnations agree with each other. By imbibing these teachings,

that is, keeping them close to our heart and following them, we will

escape most if not all falsehood.

Through our connection with the Divine, we also have vibratory

awareness about situations. I am not just talking about sensations

on fingertips, etc. as in " your hands shall speak " . I am talking

about a heightened intuition, intelligence, wisdom and the

discretion of your

enlightened Spirit within.

Contemplation, meditation and introspection are most important also,

because we need to learn to " witness " our actions.

We are not this body, not the mind, not the emotions, we are

actually the Spirit. Through your Second Birth, Self-Realization,

Baptism of the Holy Spirit, whatever you want to call it, we are

able to become our Spirit.

This is also about identifying the real YOU. It is a process of

realizing that you are not your body, not your mind, not your

emotions. As you identify more and more with the Real You, which is

your Spirit, you become more truly your Real Self. You drop off

illusions and false identifications.

It is the old story of `peeling away all the layers of the onion',

to finally reveal the Real You, which is Pure Spirit. It is also the

peeling

away of all our conditionings bit by bit by bit and it is a process

that does

not happen overnight, but you will notice regular improvement with

regular

awareness also called " witnessing your Self " .

Blockages…

A lot of blockages are mental and emotional blockages and as we

surrender to our Spirit and drop off false identifications, hurts,

resentments, etc. and ask the Holy Spirit, our Divine Mother to help

us, She will. We need to develop an intimate relationship with the

Mother or Shakti within. She knows us better than we know ourselves

and She knows us better than our physical Mother knows us. She knows

all about you as She has accompanied your Spirit throughout all Time

in all its incarnations.

Healing…

It is the Shakti within that heals, comforts, clears. Even for those

performing external rituals, it is not the ritual itself that is

doing the healing. The external ritual is only the moving around of

energy in

the energy centre, and some people are forever moving energy around

in the

energy centre, but not getting in touch with the Healer Within, who

is the Holy

Spirit, Divine Mother, Mother

Kundalini, Adi Shakti, or Shakti, whatever you prefer to call this

Primordial Divine Feminine Power of God.

Chakra Clearing...

Lastly, we can use our enlightened attention and clear our energy

centres also.

Eventually as all the above spiritual work is also done, there is

less and less

need to do any manual clearing practices. Our enlightened attention

also

strengthens through our union with the Divine, and works out any

specific

problems that we put our attention on, automatically. The All-

Pervading Power,

which is also called the Paramchaitanya, which is also called the

All-Pervading

Power of God's Love works it out without any external effort on our

part. We

become instruments of the Divine, Co-Creators with God, you could

say. But God

needs us as instruments for Him to work through us. That is the only

way He

works in this world, through His Divine Instruments.

I hope this helps.

Btw, i just found some words from Shri Mataji where She says that we

cannot grow in SY until we become thoughtlessly aware. She also says

that after thoughtless awareness, you might still feel little chakra

blockages here and there, but to just forget it. She repeats this

twice... " Just forget it " : -

" So, first you become thoughtlessly aware, then the growth of

spirituality starts, after thoughtless awareness, not before. One

should know that. On rational plane you cannot grow in Sahaja Yoga.

So, first thing is to establish your thoughtless awareness: still

you might feel little chakra blockages here and there; forget it.

Just forget it. "
