" Dear Sakis, Our self-realization is known as the Second Birth that Jesus talked about. When you give people their self-realization, you should tell them that this experience is exactly the same experience that Jesus referred to as the " Second Birth " . Then people will know that this experience is in the context of all the spiritual traditions. It is only from the Hindu tradition generally, that people know what " kundalini " means. Most people don't understand the word " kundalini " as they do not know Sanskrit. Therefore, when they get their Self-Realization, if you call it their Second Birth of the Spirit, which is the same thing as their " kundalini-awakening " , they will understand better the greatness of this experience, because it is talked about in all global religions. If you are only comfortable with saying that this is also your Second Birth as Jesus taught, that is fine. At least you have put Self-Realization in its proper and right context, so that they then realize the spiritual importance of it. At the second program, you can be more brave, and actually tell them that Shri Mataji is the Comforter that has come as Jesus promised. That should make people very interested indeed. You have to be comfortable with this knowledge yourself, Sakis. When you feel more comfortable with expressing the universal truth of the Second Birth or Self-Realization, rather than just expressing it from only the Subtle System angle, you will see how much easier and effective this is. It is a good idea to listen to some Public Program tapes and use Shri Mataji as an example of how to present the Truth of the Spirit Within and you cannot go wrong. She in Public Programs taught that Self-Realization was the same as your Second Birth that Jesus taught, and She did this from the very first day. However, no one is making rules for you, Sakis, really. You misunderstand. The idea is that you present Self-Realization in its right context, which is an extension and expansion of all the spiritual teachers of all time. Guest guest
Dear Violet, When Sakis gave my Self Realisation, he didn't use the exact word " Second Birth " but he and a fellow Sahaja Yogi did stress the importane of it and I knew something actually happened there. I regret the fact that he didn't tell me earlier who Shri Mataji is because it would have saved a lot of trouble for me but he had his reasons although I still regret it. Anyway this turned out to help me because the second time I joined I did it to find the truth and not to destroy negativity. And people are not particularly happy when they hear who Shri Mataji is. We were even acused of satanism by a friend who saw the mantra book and our respect towards mother. Even though that person didn't really believe it, it is normal that we don't run screaming who Shri Mataji is isn't it. Not all people are the same though. My mother didn't have a problem even though she doesn't feel like joining. But you cannot always predict each person's reaction and do likewise...
